Have you tried Geico or Progressive,,, I have Geico on both of the Trikes, at $575 for a year combined value at 45K. Worth a call to either. I had Foremost before and it was $6?? per year for the same coverage for just the Gold Wing...........

I tried Golf Cart hubcaps once but couldn't use them because the hub on the trailer wheel comes out past the rim a little, and the hubcap needed a hole in the center... I have seen 5 point star 8 inch chrome but don't know where he found them,,, looked a little strange with the big center hub cover. I have seen nice hub caps with spinners also that look good. Him I know and can find out where they were found.

Took it off, too many inconsistencies, and little problems, and a ton of things missing or hid. Oh well it is a Beta but don't expect it to get too much better.

I know several who have them on a Goldwing, and swear by the seat, and its comfort. One of my friends has had his seat on 3 GL's. When he trades or sales he takes his Russell off and puts on a stock seat. I would love to get one for my GL ( They are quite pricey, but seem to be worth it )

I have known and done this for years on the GL1800. It is debated heavily at times on that board also. I have photos there showing the tread pattern next to a regular front tire, and some still deny that it is correct,, Michelin and Bridgstone recommend that if a rear tire is put on the front; to reverse it. There is a guy on that board that just yesterday had to replace a fairly new BT-45 Battleaxe because it was coming apart on him. As of this minute he hasn't said weather it was mounted forward by the arrow, or reverse..... I suspect that it was mounted by the arrow in standard rotation ( for rear application ) He is an aggressive rider, and in previous debates; always has stated that the manufactures put the arrows on there for a reason, and that the tire is designed for a specific rotation. Which is very true - for the application that it is marketed to and for as a rear tire. But when used as a front tire he just cant conceive the idea of the forces on the tire being reversed, and doesn't seem to understand the way the forces apply to the belting.

That is the Bike colors. I left off the Trike side colors that I have. They are accessible under the tail light mount, or in the harness under the rear fender ( real tough to get to with the fender on )

Didn't take long to load it,,, Looks different in the beginning,and you have to figure out where things are, but not that bad, wonder how long before it locks up,, Still no spell check,,,

Great!! They haven't got 8 working just right yet, so they move on to 9 Well at least when they dropped Vista into Win 7 that was an improvement. The loader file is only 2.6mb may give it a run...

This is what I have for cutting the wiring harness out, and re-wiring Tail lights for the Trikes. I will just give the Bike side. Blue = Run Black = Ground Yellow = Brake Brown = Left Turn Green = Right Turn

I just looked at the MT66, and it looks good ie: nice center tread pattern. Also looking at others BT-45,& Lasertech etc. It may be a while before I really need it as the Conti was new, and I only have a couple of K on it now. I guess I will just have to get out and try to ware it out,, I am thinking of something a tad taller, and narrower in the 130/140 X 90 range.

Just me but I think a waist of good oil,,, This engine will tell you when it needs changing IMHO. The GL1800 different story; it just keeps haulin,, I change that one at 12 to 15 K (Syn 15/50) The old school way isn't bad just a waist of good oil,,,

A rear tire mounted in Reverse or backward on a Trike is the Excepted, and recommended way in most cases, and nothing to worry about. It is done for water shed, and breaking ability ( as designed into the tire if it is a Rear tire ) my Conti is an either or and Arrows pointing to each other with the front or rear under the appropriate arrow. Now the bolts being loose, and missing on the frame,,,, That is a different situation. I would jack it up, and take off the rear tires, and go over every nut and bolt that you can see to make sure that they are all tight. Where there are one or more missing or loose, there is more that you haven't found YET!!!

The top two photos of the oil pan had 54K on it, and the oil changed semi regularly ( @ 10K intervals ) and for that many miles it was surprisingly clean in the sump area. That photo was taken seconds after dropping it and no clean up.

Here is Why The Drain is under the cross bar in the middle. The only way to get all of the oil out would be to raise the rear up about 4 foot, and tilt it to the left a little...... This is from my Cracked Oil Pan post:

There are lots of power pick points under the faring. I also left my duel opener with the battery in it, but have installed them as mentioned to use the bike power. I haven't seen my opener on the GW for about 4 years, and use the opener 12 to 20 times a week, and still have great distance from it when opening a door,,,,, either way it is out of sight, and mind, but always available.

You need to look at the Butler Cup set up I have one on the RSV, and GL1800 it is a claw for either 20 or 32 Oz cups that come with the setup. I have both claws. The cup fits, and doesn't move around. Several ways to use it. http://www.glassact.com/ http://www.glassact.com/gallery/gallery1-0.jpg -
I do it all the time with out taking the battery out, but I have the rear off at that point though. It isn't a bad job at all, like mentioned less than an hour.
