  1. My bro n law used to have a box at the lake house. Used a dead chest freezer. Said he filled it with dirt, put the bacon grease and coffee grinds in and the worms loved it. I tried raising honeybees but learned they're girls and expected me to acomadate their schedule. Got out of that quick.
  2. I don't have one but, I have a question. I understand there's no room for the plumbing so "It is what it is." I also understand the exhaust is linked diagonally for tuning. (sort of) What I don't understand is how the back cylinders can do a 180° turn & enter the exit flow in the wrong direction. Am I missing something? Aside from the fact that I'm probably thing backwards & everything is headed to the rear.
  3. I agree with you GW. This is no place for Seafoam! Go get it fixed to specs!
  4. At top. Community - Member List http://www.venturerider.org/forum/memberlist.php
  5. Didn't go to that section. I'm a cheapskate. Bought a years membership to the museum. From there I can go to the walking bridge with a glass floor at turn 9 & see the race. Free bbq with the membership. 3-4 hours is all the wife can take. Now when vintage bike week comes around, that'll be a different story. Wife INSISTED I renew my memebership when it expires! http://www.barbermotorsports.com/barber-historics-home.php
  6. Took the better half to watch vintage race cars at Barbers today. As we came to the stop sign at the exit ramp we watched the entire group go by. Had to fight the urge to get chocked up. Glad for the delay. Sorry guys as usual phone battery was dead. No pics.
  7. Not sure what AAA could have done in this case. One of those new fangled Honda keys with the weird engraved teeth, computer chip & remote. Think a spare is gonna cost him $100 & that's a "deal" from a friend. Enjoyed the late night road trip anyway & Columbus Riverwalk was worth the drive.
  8. But I gotta admit, although I wasn't there physically my mind was. Just as well. Saturday night I had to drive 2 1/2 hours south to take a spare key to my son who lost his at the whitewater festival in Columbus GA.
  9. Not even gonna bring it up. At least I've learned SOMETHING after all these years! Be safe and enjoy.
  10. MAN! If it weren't Mother's Day weekend I'd ride over there with ya. Been wanting to video a carb operation for a long time.
  11. I'm sure there are many out there who think people on bikes are a lower life form, but when I see posts like his I automatically smell "TROLL". Instead of having a decent hobby they throw garbage/gibberish out in cyberspace to watch the fallout. Hope he crosses a 1%er some day. They were made for each other.
  12. Maybe so but we're talkin about rouge stuff here. The equivalent in eyebrows are those 3 hairs that act like they got ahold of the Miracle Grow and refused to share with the rest. I never had these problems 10 years ago!
  13. This just fits in with all the other stuff we're dealing with. Carburetors, medical, midlife, post midlife. Next thing we'll be getting excited about is deals on caskets. Small wonder Yamaha has written us off. Short answer, "Yes. I feel your pain." Think I'll go for a ride in the country when I get off just to air my hair.
  14. Other intended mods include widening the swing arm so he can run a car tire. That should be interesting. Has that ever been done on a 1st gen?
  15. I forgot to mention. At this point you probably should not speak to the kid or dad ever again. Nothing you say to them will benefit you in ANY way! I'm not a lawyer so if I'm wrong somebody please tell the other side.
  16. Let's play poker here. I bet the kid & dad haven't told their insurance company he was delivering pizza. They seem to be flexible with the facts. If I win you owe me a ride on your BRAND SPANKIN NEW BIKE because the way I was told by my agent, "I risk losing everything if my kid wrecks an "uninsured delivery vehicle." If I loose I guess I'll send my kid up there to deliver pizza! Please post lots of pictures of your boo boo, the bike & the scene of the crime.
  17. Do get the bump checked out and documented.
  18. I know the Clarence Carter version of Patches recorded in muscle shoals Alabama. Never heard ricky nelsons. Will look that up. Joy to the world (Jeremiah was a bullfrog) 3 dog night
  19. Slow day at work so I went exploring. Is this the software's place for putting stuff like the tech library? Just curious.
  20. Yamaha Other | eBay And occasionally there's that once in a lifetime deal.
  21. Looks like you get to the screws from the bottom? Looks too much like brain surgery to me but I probably need to do it anyway. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28640 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63371 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=78022 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=42139
  22. I'll come if I can swing it. It will be in the cage though.
  23. Perhaps that is the key. A little accent perhaps? Look a little "un-American"? (whatever that is) Some folks think they can be jerks because they've been on this continent all their life. Either way, If the CEO hears about this I bet heads will roll. Nothing like a pissant taking down the whole company. Stephen F. Heese CPA President Stephen M. Julius Executive Chairman Pankaj Dubey Managing Director
