Was supposed to remove my 83 from the driveway one way or another. Don't have time or motivation to raise her from the dead so what did I do today? Bought an 86 in worse shape! I'd really like to video reviving the 83 if anyone is interested. Will drive the cage to meet everyone tomorrow. Is there a 12 step program for this?

I have to deal with this scenario at work frequently. I have a 2 prong solution. 1st never assume the receiver has the same app or platform you have. Mac/PC. Word/? Coreldraw/Illustrator etc but they probably do have the ability to open PDF files. Download and install a free PDF writer like cutepdf and print your file as a PDF. If weird fonts/graphics still present a problem convert to a readable graphic like jpg bmp etc then save as PDF. Sorry I don't have a free link for doing that as I use Corel.

If I were on the computer I'd go to my fonts dot com/whatthefont upload a small tiff of a few scanned characters and it will give the font with links to buy/download. What was the 2nd link on above post? "Key" that sounds like a direct link to the font you're after.

Interesting! When I search Mitsuba SM-13 I get Honda Polaris and bunch of other results from $19 up. A few don't even list what they go on. Will these starters work without modification or would the guts need to be transferred to the old hardware?

What a let down! Yesterday was 1st time I've touched the bike in a year. I thought a sensor went off notifying Don I needed a 4 brush starter, carb rebuild and all the mods that need to be done to a mothballed 83!

Back from a long hiatus. Can't believe my 1st post is a response to a music thread. Well actually I can. I'll procrastinate with music anytime over being productive. I used that site back in the Napster days to "remember" titles I wanted. It also helps me ID instrumentals.

On an unrelated note, I think it's interesting that the old do it yourself mags disappeared or became a thin notebook of ads and for me have been replaced by "done by ourselves" forums like this one and a few others I gladly subscribe to... cars, boats, home improvement. Funny thing is, this one addresses ALL those areas & then some! Even if my 83 rots in the driveway, I'll still get my money's worth here.
