  1. OK, let me say this again, He Posted as Palamino and he's from Wisonsin---How much better can it get than that? Steve
  2. Right now I get Motorcyclist, which I won't renew, and I get Mororcycle Cruiser, which i might just renew. Steve
  3. Welcome Palmino. I see that you ride a 97 Royal Star Palamino----and are from Wisconsin--- Gorgeous Bike!-----:MAGNETA: Steve
  4. Hard to know what to say about that mess--Seems like when they go down in the grass and dirt, they always seem to be messy eaters. Turf in every nook and cranny. Glad you two walked away from that one. But, the thing that caught my eye, was the tire. It reminded me of when we used to buy retreads for the car. They were always throwing them off. Hard to know what came first, I'm sure, but it sure is seperated. Steve
  5. Sarge, If you sat on me, I'd moan AND groan. Steve
  6. How do you see how many members that there are. When I click on the members list, it says, 3808 Steve
  7. :)Hey Spear, You're living in one of the two places that I'd like to get to in my life, and I have a cousin actually living there. Maybe she'd be thrilled to see me some day! then, of course I'd have to go riding with you. If your'e gonna ask me where she lives, I'm gonna have to ask my mom. Steve
  8. Hey Curt, Glad to see your post here, I tried to make the Get Goosed last year, but family things got in the way, Hopefully this year, I'll be there. Thanks, Steve
  9. I guess that I have a hard time understanding why you need an expensive battery for your bike. I've had lots of bikes and the least of my problems have been batteries. Maybe I'm missing something here. Boats, bikes, cars, etc., I guess that I'm not one to spend exra on something that might get me a little bit more time, so I'll just buy a battery from where ever and over the long run, I'm sure that I'tll be just fine. To each their own though. We all have our own little quirks, don't we? Steve
  10. Can't argue that. Good point. Steve
  11. My trips this summer will be limited, but I'm gonna do my best to be at your maintanence day. then I'll meet that lucky gal. Steve
  12. Sorry, but I've never been impressed with quantity. Steve
  13. Yup, looks like Wisconsin to me. Your a lucky guy, Don. (last photo) Hope you had a great get-away! Steve
  14. I've been watching this thread and you guys down south talking about cold weather, I don't get it. I know that you get a cold snap now and then, but? I'm with jimbob all the way. Here in Wisconsin where we have a real winter, months on end, the gas milage absolutely drops. Me and some of my friends were just talking about it yesterday. I'm not talking about statistics, I'm talking about the vehicles, cars, bikes, that we have been driving for the last 40 years. We just plain get worse milage in the winter. Steve
  15. Hey Kit, You just made a post about the #1 thing that I think about when I ride, which is know what is going on around you and ALWAYS having a way out. (escape route) Glad you think the same, and are now here telling us about it. Thanks, and safe riding, Steve
  16. There is another guy on here that is selling one of them. It's cajunrsvr. I talked with him last fall about his. I did'nt save the messages, so you will have to message him. Steve
  17. I have the two piece made for motorcycles, black with reflective striping, and am about the same size as you and have a size Large. It fits very well over my leather jacket, and the pants also fit over anything I'm wearing. the only negative thing that I have to say about them is that the female part where the zipper starts is too short, and you MUST keep the snaps snapped or it will open from the bottom--not a good thing! I agree with everyone else on them being a good rainsuit. I would definately buy them online though. Steve
  18. Fred, If you're talking about the cold air vents, I put one drop of goup on ONE louver to hold them open. I can easily cut it loose if I want. On the vents next to the engine, I taped them shut from the inside. Steve
  19. Well Squid, Sorry to hear that it happened at all, but good to hear that you're here to tell us about it. You both will heal in time and I'm sure will replace the bike. You both take care and have a speedy recovery! Steve
  20. Hey, Happy New Year to you and your family Don. And a Happy New Year to all the rest of you guys. ( and of course the gals:)) Enjoy your time off Don, Steve
  21. Pete, this is my opinion for what it is worth, I've had kerosene heaters in the past, and I would get rid of it and get some type of natural gas/propane heater for your garage. Clean, easy, less expensive, and for sure less of a hassle. BUT,-------------- a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do. Good luck, Steve
  22. Bvinson, I'm with ya on the batteries! Rechargable is the only way to go. Because of what I do, I got involved in the 15 min. rechargable program and made parts for them, and let's just say that I have an ample supply, and they do last at least 3 times as long. I was out ice fishing yesterday, and was thinking of them gloves. Steve

  25. That's a pretty cool catalogue. Lots of interesting stuff. I might just have to get me a pair of the gloves. Interesting that they could be hooked up to the bikes electric. I'll probably have a hard time keeping the fish slime off of them though:whistling: thanks, Steve
