  4. My new bike arrived in one piece today, with a great deal of thanks to 86er, Todd Magill. He did a lot of work to get me this bike, and I want to thank him. It even came with a little bit of Georgial clay:) As long as I'm talking about the great members here, I'd also like to thank NKBjones, Nathan Jones for sending me a lowering kit for my 05 RSTD. Steve
  5. Listen Eddie, If I ever hit a deer, and I live where they are thick, and can post a pic of my bike and I'm OK, I'll consider myself a very lucky guy. They are deadly, as you know and I'm very glad that you and your wife got by with injuries that will heal in time. Sorry that it happened, but like I said, glad your here to tell us about it! It is the single reason that I now do very little night riding around here. Steve

  10. Really nice looking ride, but I also noticed that you didn't get the WWW for the front. Must be what avon sells as a WWW though. Steve
  11. I do, in fact the only time I put the windshield on my bike, (05 RSTD) is bad weather or distance. I love the wind in my face. The way I see it, that is the way it was meant to be. But-----to each his own. Steve
  12. Yup, a 1909 but looking very fine indeed!! You should be very proud of that one. Steve
  13. Check out my 86, Steve
  14. Good news Hipshot! Hope things keep improving. Must be real hard on you though. Hang in there and take care of yourself. Steve
  15. Well, My comment is that my 86 loved being at 80mph, and I always rode solo. Avons, but I did notice a very nice change when I balanced the front wheel and ran 40psi in it. The only time it would get squirlley is at very low speeds and that is when I balaced and raised the air pressure. In my opinion, the speed that the 86 loved to run at was 75 to 85. I think I could stay there all day. At 55, it started whinning. I also ran no air in the front and maybe 15 in the rear. hope this helps, Steve
  16. Hey, I think I'm more impressed with your garage than your new ride. Nice! Steve

For the last couple days, when I would click on the word SPEED (thread title) it would take from 20 to 40 seconds to see the thread, now, and I mean right now, it takes 1 second. I have no idea what's up. I'm just passing on info to you, trying to help. Steve

I have the same issue with a computer with high speed DSL and a different computer with cable high speed. Not the same corrupt cookie, but the same corrupt user. Sometime after the switch. Steve

I was going to say something yesterday. When I click on a thread, it can take up to a half a minute or more to load. Sometimes I just give up and go away for a while. This happens at home and at work. Just now after I clicked on this thread, it took 20 sec to load. Just to add, other sites seem fine. Steve
