  1. I belong to forums that do have pathetic search engines, but this one is the best that I have seen, and have told Don that. Condor, the thing that pops up when you start a new thread is probably meant for folks that are not in the habit of using the search function. I use is all the time. Steve
  2. Probably needed to change underwear anyways. You need to find a member near you with a changer. Then use WD-40 as your lube. It will go great. Steve
  3. That is nothing short of GREAT news. I'm wishing her the best. Steve
  4. brings to mind what I have been saying to people for years: ----------Life is a big costume party---------- When I ride my bike, I look like a biker, when I go fishing, I look like a fisherman, when I go golfing, I look like a golfer, when I go hunting, I look like a hunter, when I out working in my garden, I look like an old gardner. never been a cowboy yet, maybe someday though. Life is a big costume party, enjoy it and have fun. Can't say I really care what others think of my costumes. Steve
  5. Good luck, Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do my nexen. Here is a couple pics of my install. Only took 80psi to bead it up. I've got over 11M on it this year, and love it. Steve
  6. Crash, You wife is in my thoughts. I wish her the best. Steve
  7. Good job Charlie:thumbsup2: Something you and the kids will never forget, and you got pics on top of it all. And I'll bet momma and baby won't forget either. Maybe you'll see them again next year. Steve
  8. Good video, but too bad he really didn't lay into a corner, now that would have been interesting. I've had my CT on for over 11,000 miles now and have people behind me say it looks very weird/different with the contact point in corners, but it sticks like glue. Steve
  9. That just means ice fishing is right around the corner. Now you're talking Steve
  10. It will be plenty big. What did you buy? Steve
  11. That could be it, but there is also an adjustment on the latch. Steve
  12. Make sure that you have all of the rubber and metal spacers in the correct location, or that might throw it off. (for the bag assembly to the bike) The latch assembly is an amazing work. That might just need a bit of tweaking also. In fact, thinking about it, the latch is a good place to start. Steve
  13. You could try loosening the hinge screws and see if that helps, but in your case, I would demand that they take care of it. After all they screwed it up to begin with. Glad I don't have dealers like that! Steve
  14. They look good, How do they light up the road, or are you aiming the right one at the ditch line? Nice mounts. Steve
  15. I'm with you guys, just another crotch rocket, and besides, "Looks like a sport touring bike without the luggage" What does that mean? Steve
  16. Hope you have a great ride! The longer it's on, the better it gets. 11M on mine now. Steve
  17. I have their clear, so can't comment on the light grey, but it's a very nice shield. And, costs less than the others. Steve
  18. Hey, the best of luck to you! Hope the healing goes fast. Know what you mean about the co-pays, blink and they want a co-pay. Just went in this aft to see a surgeon, finger clicks when it should roll smooth, something about a pivot point. outpaient surgery. I'll do it during the week in case we have a nice weekend and I'd want to be riding. Steve
  19. Offer him 5M for his and keep the roadie. Steve

Boy, that's a beauty Boo. How long have you had it? My first bike was a 1965 Triumph Bonneville, and bought it new. I was in the navy, and the very next year had it stolen out in Boston. Still could tell you the serial number. And that was over 30 years ago. Do you ride it much? Thanks for posting the pics. Steve
