  3. Yoopers bike is a 1990 and a gasket is coming with the stator. Thanks, Steve
  4. I don't know if he is getting a new gasket and screws with the stator, but I'll ask him. I do have an impact driver though. Thanks for the info. Are you going to be here on Sat? Steve
  5. Talked with Yooper today, and he had a stator ordered to be shipped to my place, but they screwed the order up and it won't be here till probably Mon. (he's going to wait till it comes before heading home) but he needs to remove his stator, so when the new one comes he can put it in. Not sure if a puller is needed or not. Just a heads up for those of you who know. See you all soon, Steve
  6. Go to the first post and my address and phone# are there. If you need more detailed directions when you get to town, just call. small town See you then, Steve

  8. I am volunteering to be the stupervisor for this get together. How much more damage can a female blond pollock do when there will be so many engineers and machinists there that can fix anything with a hammer and duct tape right??? Hey, that is great! As you can imagine, we will need all of that we can get. I've got tools and duct tape. Bubber, ---Quality?---so you're going to make sure that all of the procedures involved are ISO approved? You realize we'll get nothing done. Hey, is anyone going to need a tire changed? Steve
  9. I have it maked on my calendar. We'll have to see what October brings us here. But the one thing for sure is that these are the roads I ride in the summer if I just take off for a day ride. Between Sauk City and LaCrosse are some great roads. I'll try and make it for a day or two. Steve
  10. Wow, we've had a few inches here, but that much in Milwaukee is NOT good news for lake Michigan. Sorry to hear of your basement/shop though. Good luck and you need a PLAN for the future. Bob's sump pump idea is a good one. See you soon, Steve
  11. Anyone heard from Dan, IH Truckguy? He's over by you guys. Steve
  12. I'm gonna go out and buy some bulk chorme tape, We'll have that thing looking good in no time. Steve
  13. Hey, anyone needing anything done, come for sure. Everyone is welcome. Steve
  14. LilBeaver, That is a very fun fact. Can't wait to get on the bike and check that out. Steve
  15. Dang, That thing is just about as nice as mine. IMHO, But I'll go out and get a copy. Nice to make the cover. Steve
  16. I've got snap-ring pliers and MD grease for anyone needing the rear splines and pins greased. My friend/neighbor who has the motorcycle tire changer / balancer also has a lift that we can use Steve
  17. Guys, There's room for a few tents in my yard, but my house has lots of room. I'd say first come first serve on the bedroom, but inside somewhere is fine with me too. SO, who needs work done, and what? Steve
  18. I thought I'd let you know what I had planned for food. I will have the food ready BEFORE Sat. so I don't have to deal with it on Sat. I've done this before: I'll make a big pot of sloppy joes, EagleEye's world famous baked beans, Texas coleslaw, and whatever else. However, this could change. I figure people can grab something anytime they want on Sat. Nothing fancy, but with Jeffs sausage and who knows what others might bring, we'll be just fine. and of course, bring what ever you want to drink. Steve
  19. You need an address??????????? 1113 Monroe St. Sauk City, Wi BTW, for what it's worth, I've got a bridgeport mill and southbend lathe in the garage if they might be needed. Steve
  20. Iberg, I can't imagine a ride on Sat. This will be a maintenance day, and I would think busy. On the other hand, there are some really great roads around here. I would guess people will get here early and late, no real schedule. Whatever works for you. But if you want something done or are going to help then early would be better. RR,---Thanks for your help on this-see you then. Bubber,---Bring the windshield---and the OWL!! You have family in Cross Plains don't you? Jim,--- For sure bring your carb tune. I'm sure everyone would like to see what you've done to your bike too. Flyingfool,---I've got soldering gun and solder-----but NO MOTEL 6 I put the platinum burners on my RSTD, but need to be hooked up to electricity. See you all here, Steve
  21. The pictures keep getting better Gary. What a time of it you two are having. Enjoy the rest of the trip, Steve
  22. Besides I think Danielle is hot..... That would be a good road trip. Anyone know exactly where it is? Steve
  23. 1113 Monroe Street Sauk City Wi. 608-393-7445 We've got a couple of weeks to get this ball rolling. I will supply the place/garage, and I have a good selection of tools, a motorcycle lift, and my friend close-by has a HF tire changer that we can use. It would be good to know who will be here, who will be able to help, and who needs what done. And if anyone needs to spend a night, that can be worked out too. See you all soon, Steve
  24. Wow, what a great story. Tell her thanks from me. Steve
  25. I've been following this thread to see where it might be going, and having talked with RedRider a couple of times now to see if he was going to be able to do it at his place again, and that's not going to happen. So, some of you have been to my place before. I have a two car garage, that can be empty. (sort of) and tools, a motorcycle lift, a friend near-be with a HF tire changer that we can use, and I'm sure others would be able to bring syncs, etc. I can have it here at my place, in Sauk City, Wi. on July 31st. I have room for people to crash at my place for the night if needed. I'll watch to see what happens. We can work out arrival and departure details later. Steve
