OrlinEng, Welcome When I go for a ride, I usually head up your way over towards the Mississippi. Great back roads up in your neck of the woods. Steve

I'm not a star member, but I live 15 miles north of Middleton, so I'll probably stop in after work. Quaker steak and lube has bike night on Wed, and it's less than a mile away from where star days is being held. Maybe I'll run into some of you there. Steve

You held out and got just what you wanted. It looks like a real beauty. Congratulations! Steve

I think that you are just starting to realize what is important in life, but you've probably been there for a while now, I'm in the same boat. Brothers forever--- Steve

Lewis, I couldn't help but read with interest what you just described. And I have to tell you that my brother just had the same symtoms, Long story short, he is gluecose intolerant, and a simple test imediately showed the results. Symtoms have since gone away for him. Hope you get it figured out soon, Steve

As far as I know I have the stock bars on my RSTD, but I've heard the Venture guys say that they have swaped the RSTD bars for theirs and get more pull back. Mine could come back a bit more, but I'm not changing them out. Good luck,

With the recent talk of bluegrass, I was wondering if any of you had ever been or are planning on going this year. It sounds like an awesome time to me. Jerusalem Ridge Bluegrass Celebration 2011 September 27-October 2, 2011, Rosine, Kentucky Steve

Bob, Glad to hear your doing as well as you are without the pain meds. They cause problems all by themselves. So, when do you go home? And what in the world are you going to do for 6 weeks? Steve

Good luck today Bob! Hope everything goes as planned and you have a speedy recovery. Steve

speedometer squeal gets my vote. Very obnoxious for sure. Take it off and lube it. -
Steppenwolf, Actually, I think that is a really good job of packing, and I really like your GPS. I knew that tank looked familiar, i have an 80 xs650. (slightly modified now though) Steve

Hey Jeff, Look at it this way, if the whole trip would have been like the last two days, it would have been a pretty boring trip. You definately made some memories there. Glad you made it home OK. Steve

My thought if you didn't do it when you changed the tires is to lube the rear splines. And I'd take a small first aid kit along. Steve -
Beautiful! A job well done. The ones that I remember were much larger than that one, but around the same era. Steve

Thanks Jeff, took a while, had to wipe the tears from my eyes a couple of times to finish. The last time I read something this funny was about the mad squirrel. Steve
