  1. Agreed, very cool dog. and he sure knows how to ride
  2. No way, I'd quit riding first
  3. I think so. A dunlop 404, 150/80-15 is 25.43" Your BF Goodrich 155/80 R15 is 24.7"" My Nexen 156/80 R15 is 25.4" I had already lowered my 05 RSTD so I didn't go with the BF Goodrich, but I think that my next CT will be the BFG. An extra 3/8" lower I can adjust for with air in the shock. Steve
  4. HOLY SMOKES
  5. Congrats, glad to see you're riding again, but I'd like to see the merc. Steve
  6. Geez Don, Most of us dream about going to a resort in northern Wisconsin for a week. You know, fish all day, drink all night, eat high on the hog. Yeah, I know, you worked all week--no fishing, etc. Enjoy your vacation, Steve
  7. there are some very good Amish groups that have a very good name over in Flemingsburg, KY. This is maybe the best idea I've heard yet. Good luck Dan, Steve
  8. Andy, Sorry I can't specifically answer your question, but------- Have you gone to the tech section and under 1st gen, suspension, looked at the fork seal replacement article? I used it years ago to do mine. Steve
  9. Jeff, Have a great BBQ trip. I know that this is very dooable for you with your iron butt experience. I have to asume that this is not part of your weight loss program. Hope the weather is good for you. Steve

  11. My windshield is off most of the time. I do put it on for a trip, but around here, never. The backrest is never on. I love riding a motorcycle with the wind in my face. Steve
  12. First of all, a great big thank you to Gary and Anne for hosting this again. (and of course it's always great to see Scooter) And Owl, for bringing the guest of honor, and all of the food fixings, and putting this all together. It is always a great time with old and new friends. Me and Yooper got back to my place late afternoon yesterday, after a bit of rain up north. The chili's were both very good, and lots of fun. Already looking forward to next year. Steve
  13. Actually, I sort of liked the old way better too, but i haven't really used the new classifieds much. Seems like it's harder to get to. I'm sure it's just me, but if there was a link to click on to get to them, I'd leave it as is. All this stuff for me just takes getting used to. But I always have HOME come up when I get on. BUT, thanks for all you do, Steve
  14. That's where you are. I came past there this aft on the way home from taking my daughter back to LaCrosse, to college. Now back home trying to cool off. I'll be by there around 7 or so, but you'll be in the sack, right. I'll wave. See you all tomorrow, Bob, sat, right? Steve
  15. Guess I could add 2k1 so as not to be confused with the ones with wooden wheels :rotf: Now, that's funny :thumbsup2: Steve
  16. Hey Owl, Not to worry, My beans are like your chili, they get made "AT" the Pork in the Pines. Bike and camper are hooked up and ready to roll. I'm taking my daughter to college this afternoon. Tonight will be easy, relax and think about what I forgot to bring. Might even have a cold one. See you all tomorrow, Steve
