The default must link the city (in our profile) Can state or province be linked to the city or in our profile, can they both be one line? I added my state to the city line, but that's not really the answer. Other than that, I really like the new site!

I'm planning on an under par round in the back nine. Thanks Randy for a great read.

I posted this on the RSTD forum but you guys have the same tires so, anyone measure their WWW's? Who makes the widest whitewall for the front that is actually a good tire? In the size: 130-90-16 Actual measurements of the whitewall is what I'd like. I already know that the Avon gangster is 2 3/4"

Rick did a great job on it. Before I was sitting "on" the seat and now I feel I'm setting "in" the seat. His mode allows you to stay in the saddle longer without pain. I never had a plush seat and I'm sure it's nice. But to me, it's more about the shape of the seat than to the plush. Rick does a superb job. Couldn't agree more. Rick did my mustang seat some years ago and like was said "I feel like I'm sitting in the seat rather than on it.

Gorgeous! brings back memories of me and my buddy in 1975 riding across Canada on our XS650 yamaha's, camping in Banff and down through the Okanogan valley.

Holy cow, amazing. and to think that someone built that, somewhere. AND drove it.

Ok, here is a navy story: Yokosuka Japan, 01/01/1964, So on new years eve me and a buddy borrowed money from someones slush fund to to on the beach to the EM club to celebrate the new year. Drinks were .10 each so we ordered a number of them at a time. Sometime before midnight, my buddy kept falling off of his chair and causing a problem, (as I remember it) which got us kicked out of the club. We made it back to the ship and I remember sitting on the edge of the flight deck at midnight, fireworks going off. That's how I celebrated turning 18

Just found this old thread and also have many sea stories. I'll probably be thinking about them all day today. Served on the USS Kitty Hawk, M div, 63-64, east pac cruise. 64-67 USS Randolph, A div, med cruise, north atlantic cruise, and several caribean cruises. As this is a MC site, my bad memory is having my first bike (1965 Triumph Bonneville) stolen at the Boston shipyard in Nov of 66 while we were in drydock. I hope to have another one soon. Other than that, I always say that it was the best time of my life.

Why Reverse A Rear Tire When Put On The Front?
eagleeye replied to GlennTuc's topic in The Darksiders
Yup to all of those reasons that I ran a rear on the front when I ran a CT on the back. But my other reason is that the HD tires, (dunlop) front vs rear, the rear not only has lots more tread, but a wider whitewall. and I LOVE my WWs! Now, the reason that next spring when I put on another CT, I will not put a rear on the front, cause it just lasts too long, and cupped badly at 30,000 when I changed out the CT. The rear on the front still had lots of tread, so being a rear anyways, I put it on my XS650 bobber, on the rear. So that worked out well for me. -
Leaking brain fluid--Just when you think that you have heard everything. Sometimes when you go to the doc, you have this feeling that your going to hear something that you don't want to hear, and then, there it is. But it's sure a lot better than sticking you head in the sand. That fixes nothing. I hope they take good care of you and get you fixed up real soon. Your on the right path for sure.

He was wearing those military/police type boot that a lot of guys wear. Steel toe would have helped alot.

Actually I talked with Yooper last night. He called to say that surprisingly after the skin graft surgery, he was feeling good, and all went well, so now to take it easy and heal up. It's driving him nuts to not be able to just go out and walk around, but he has to stay off of that foot for a while.

Flanders bars photos
eagleeye replied to eagleeye's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I knew I could count on you guys. Thanks for all of the links and info. -
I'm planning on putting the flanders bars (650-08783) on my 05 RSTD but would like to see what they look like on. So do any of you that have put them on, have any photos, maybe even sitting on the bike to show arm position? I already know that you all love the arm position, right? Thanks
-
I'm planning on putting flanders bars on this winter/spring, but now I'm going to check out these bars. I measured my RSTD and it seems yours are about 11" taller, and sitting on the seat seem a little tall for me. I'm going to look at 10" rise bars. My very first bike I put 10" pullbacks on, and it was great as I recall. We'll see where that goes. But I think I'd like it. Glad you brought this up.

I think that they look really great. Not too tall at all. How many inches are the grips above the lowest part of the seat? I'm gonna measure my RSTD and see where mine are. I'll be interested to see how you like them.

Got it, thank you
