  1. Hey, one of you tech kinda guys must be able to put/have Freebird sitting on these things in a picture.
  2. Good luck with your Nexon. That one of mine stuck like glue in the corners. I'm putting beads in both of my tires this year.
  3. Have more of a problem of the mist sticking to the backs of "all" windshields on a motorcycle. Ain't that the truth! Now someone must have a GREAT IDEA to keep or at least remove the fog/mist from the back while riding. It's not me. I just use a cloth also.
  4. I've got my campsite reserved, and Yooper is going to be sharing it with me. For me it's a great ride down along the Mississippi river, Can't wait
  5. Thanks for your heads up on our maintenance list to keep us and our bikes safe. When I get at it, I'll go back and reread this post. I plan on all of the above plus the coolant. (before next riding season)
  6. I'd be interested to know which bike and how many miles. I'm gonna check mine this winter at 45K
  7. That's really cool that they snow up chrome when they are not on. Be sure and post a pic when you get them mounted. I wonder if they make the same for the front turn signals?
  8. Spent the day yesterday skinning and cutting up my deer. I've got it all boned and trimmed. I'll package it up tomorrow, and I'll grind my burger and take some to the meat market to get sausage ans ring balogna made. Gonna do another skull mount on this one. I've done a few of them before.
  9. Happy Thanksgiving to all and Don and Eileen, thank you for all you do and have done to keep this group altogether.
  10. I was just wondering if I'd missed it. Glad you like the 130's on the front. I've been running them for quite a few years and would never run the 150's again. As far as what I'm going to run next year: Front-Shinko 130-90-16 WWW Rear-BF Goodrich 155-80-15 WWW
  11. I see that this is a poll, but when I looked under VR POLLS I didn't see it
  12. How/where are you going to mount speakers on a RSTD?
  13. Anyone ever ride/rent a bike in New Zealand?
  14. The last one, which was a nexon, lasted 30,000 miles
  15. Wow, that's ballsy. Glad to hear that you called the bluff
  16. I got my tires for 2015, now just have to get them mounted sometime this winter. BF Goodrich 155-80-R15 WWW both sides date code 16-14 Shinko 130-90-16 WWW date code 33-14
  17. If I went I'd want to stay at the place that Burt Monroe stayed at
  18. I see Bubber mentioned my name here, but I was going to reply and say that as I recall, they do fit, but you just have to take the metal Piece that they fit in and reverse it. I have them/similar on my RSTD Hope you understand what I mean. Maybe there is a picture of this. I'll look. OK, it is the ring that is reversed when I/you put these on. Hope this pic helpsI'll try one more Guess I just get one
  19. Enjoy that new RSTD. It's a beauty for sure.
  20. I deep saying the same thing as you: WOW. Certainly not your daily rider, but a work of art.
  21. Tom, We know that you HATE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!! Get your roof cleaned off. I've been thinking of you. Glad that the dog is safe
  22. Chaharley If you haven't fixed your cracked trunk yet. I used epoxy and fiberglass cloth together (on the inside) on mine and a friends trunk. Spread epoxy around the crack, lay down the cloth and then more epoxy to saturate the cloth. Solid fix for sure.
  23. This is what I'm thinking. This whole camping thing has got me wound tight. Next summer is MINE to ride and camp. If I go to Don's MD's then on to GA, seems this is on my way.
  24. Maybe try 2nd gen tech talk. Might get some help there. OR harbor freight
  25. I've run a couple of MT90's on the front when I ran a CT. I ran a HD rear (MT90) on the front, (reversed) but I ended up taking it off (cupped badly) and putting it on the rear of my bobber. In fact, I'm getting another CT now and am searching for a MT90/130-90-16 right now, but want the WIDEST WWW I can find. But not the Avon gangster. So I've decided to go with the Shinko 777, 130-90-16 WWW.
