My buddy in town has TWO bikes a day for a week. Never know which one he will show up on. Better get some more. -
Seems fair to me

I always told my kids to act NORMAL. They questioned that word coming from me. I don't understand. -
Thanks for reminding me, of course it's too late now. Peter Egan spoke at a local library on the 26th and I had the reminder in front of me, (sort of) and missed it. Great event though. Next one is the 1st Sunday in October.

Go to their website and check out dates of other events, but the museum is worth visiting on it's own. I spent an entire day there last summer. There is so much to see and many videos at the different displays and also a lot to read there. There are bench's throughout the museum to sit and look, relax or read. Definitely worth seeing. They are on the edge of town now in what looks to be an old Kmart/Walmart, so it has lots of sq ft. Oh yeah, J & P cycles is also there, so I thought I'd go over there and spend some time looking at their store. That probably took 10 minutes and I was back at the museum.

That's so awesome, and she looks great. It's good that you got to see her again, and riding.

Motorcycle Spends 4 Years Encased in Ice And Runs Great
eagleeye replied to SilvrT's topic in Watering Hole
Wow, that is one nice looking bike. I'm surprised how it does NOT have the arlan ness look. That's probably why I like it, more of a rounded look. -
The first Sunday in May is the spring Crud Run, and yesterday was a beauty, upper 70s to lower 80s and the biggest turn out ever. Several thousand bikes of all types and ages. You name it, it was there. Many very old bikes. Even saw a couple of 1st gens. Should have taken more pics, but next year I will. Bikes gather in Pine Bluff, just west of Madison for the morning, then wander up to Lealand, just north of Sauk City, probabaly 25 miles, and I live inbetween them, so I took my 2002 Triumph bonneville to Pine Bluff, met some friends, and I met david who bought that gorgeous Honda Valkyre that was looking at the bike at Engleharts. I saw his bike up in Lealand, but didn't see him. I stopped at home, switched bikes, and took my 1980 Yamaha XS650 bobber up to Lealand, and I'm telling you, I never seen so many bikes for this spring run. Bikes of all kinds, and talked to lots of folks from all over the midwest. I met a guy who had this blindingly orange,(he said it was some type of red) Victory Cross Country Eight Ball with 10" risers and somewhat louder exhaust, both black that was drop dead gorgeous, so I sat on it and I could see owning it. (other than the sticker price). That is a pic I wish I had. One old bike at the crud run Anyone in this neck of the woods should think about coming. The fall crud run is the first Sunday in Ocotber.

eagleeye replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
I'm glad to hear that you are having some improvement, but those drugs? Nice that your doc intervened and took charge of all of them. side effects and more side effects, Jeez! I hope it all gets narrowed down for you soon, but I'm really glad to hear your out and about, and even have your eyes open. -
That sounds like a good option to me.

Hey, I'll be riding with a guy who is riding one of those first gens, so please give us a little more time.

Good post! I've made it and used it, but be careful what you store it in. I couldn't figure out what that red liquid was leaking out of my chemical storage unit. Well, that's what is was. (stored in a plastic spray bottle)

Looks like about 170 miles from Puc's to 23 & territorial on the slab, but it's still a ways away yet.

So, you need a truck to pull the boat to the lake and then this fall you need that same truck to pull it home. Unless you want that Avalanche to just own and drive, have someone take the boat to the lake.

I've got the HD slashcut road king mufflers, with the baffles drilled out on my 05 RSTD, and I did not rejet, and it runs fine.

Thanks for your reply's. I called Fly Racing out in Idaho and spoke with the guy who handles customer service type things and said that he had not gotten any bad feedback or returns on these, and they had sold plenty of them, so I ordered a pair. I'll find out soon enough if they are what I was looking for.

Hey Puc, I'll be there Thurs eve and we'll go from there
