  1. Just did a quick check on CL, and one like the one you posted go for 3K to 5K What's the BMW worth?
  2. You can't send it in, but you probably can find a replacement on ebay. Last year I talked with Garmin about mine, same one as you. Use that one in your car and get another for the bike.
  3. One of these good old threads: Yeah, that could be, but I don't know and Haven't heard from anyone who actually does. I took mine off years ago, and like everyone else who did, noticed no difference. Here is a pic for those of you who want to know what those gorgeous machined discs look like:
  4. Sorry to hear that you lost your mom, Don. My mom died 7 years ago and still miss her. Moms are special!
  5. Made the same adjustment on my RSTD, and solved the issue. Too simple.
  6. :dancefool::thumbsup2: Great news
  7. Yep, that's where Pork in the Pines is at. Let us know if you find out when it's on the link. They ice race around here too. And probably lots of places in Wi and Mn.
  8. Looks good Leprechaun, Rainbow, or a pot of gold it is
  9. Hey Scott, didn't watch the video but after your reply above it reminded me of getting my knee sewn up once and the doc sayin maybe I should lie down while she did the sewin and I said, no I'll watch. Took one pass with the needle for me to get light headed and lie down. No blood, no pain, just watchin did it. Always remember that and what the mind can do. Glad all is going well with you
  10. Has anyone installed the 2 machined aluminum spacers that lower the front end of the RSTD 1 1/2"? These are from BARONS. Comments? Opinions? $25 seems a bit high for 2 short pcs of alum pipe. Anyone remove them because they didn't like what it did?
  11. Hey Puc, Hope after your surgery, your hand heals fast and works better! I don't need to tell you that your lucky to have tip taking care of you do I?
  12. Good news Jeff. It's still February, so by spring you should be riding for sure, and even using those machines.
  13. Yeah, thanks Joe How about you, and your bike in front of a bull elk
  14. somebody should have a 12 ga.
  15. To etcswjoe: Awe comeon it can't be that bad, and it's probably politically incorrect, so it's got to be good. I was thinking about getting one of those big screen tv's. Can't you just get one that you can watch a tv show or put in a dvd and watch a movie?
  16. OWl, what the hell are you doing on those sites?????
  17. I've got the same guage, this is the dash on my DL650 Vstrom, but mine is in RED, easier on the eyes.
  18. Looks great Rick! Lots of work I'm sure but well worth it.
  19. So with FOUR WHEELS on the ground, are they licensed as CARS and insured as CARS? Always wondered this.
  20. Wow, I'd be very proud to meet these great men. Thanks for posting this.
  21. OK, if I was still working I would have checked the hardness on our hardness tester. But I'm not so I had my friend check the hardness on the RC scale for me. The dark, longer ones are the stock links from my RSTD and the other ones are lowering links for my DL650 Suzuki. I knew what the outcome would be, but now you can see what it is: They are both soft metal as I suggested they would be.
  22. I've never accused you of being NORMAL. So, are you now able to get down to your machines?
  23. "Hereditary" Yup, the doc that did my trigger finger surgery several years ago said to thank my European male ancestors.
  24. Puc, are you going to have trigger finger surgery?
  25. Yeah, that's getting down there. Were starting a warm up now. We were where you are a few days ago. BTW, those look like snow machine tracks headed into your garage.
