Was out yesterday playing on the four wheeler doing some controlled drifting moves. Had to go back in the house for goggles, clava, helmet and some warmer gloves... that cold went right thru my double layer leather gloves. Be careful out there... this is frostbite weather... Remember: No exposed skin...

MS streets and trips looks like 39.95 online... sure would like to see it in action before I bought it.... So your saying if one were to enter start location Sandyville,WV, an ending location Dallas,OR, and I wanted to ride a (11 hr. day or 500 mi.) it would calculate were I would be at the end of each day??? Found a free 14 dAY download for it... http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30173

Motorcycle Mike My prefered method, however, I use this alot. http://tripplanner.honda.com/ Looks good but still doesn't segment. Also requires you to register? Not sure if it's free... also allows direct importing exporting to gps? Have to check out exporting to my GPS but that really wasn't my major concern. Segmenting was. Found a work around in MapQuest: Enter start and stop locations click on print It will give total miles driven at end of each direction. select direction that is close to your goal "say 500 miles" and Zoom in on it. You can now see the towns in the area and modify the trip planer by adding a stop. I plan on doing this unless theres something else out there. That way will have a destination to enter into the GPS every morning. Thanks for all the info...

Ha... Neither does a stock shield... Going to try and attach a small wind deflector to top part of smoked windshield to help clear rain. I love mine except for the rain drops. Not sure how F4s are in the rain?

Looks like I'm going to be traveling alot this year. Normally use Mapquest as it has fuel calculator and gives you a mirad of options to fill in. Would like to find an easy way to "auto mark" a trip in say 500-600 mile segments without having to add up all the milages. Has anyone found an easy way to do this?

A Preacher was explaining that he must move on to a larger congregation that will pay him more. There is a hush within the congregation. No one wanted him to leave. Joe Smith, who owns several car dealerships in the City stands up and proclaims, 'If the Preacher stays, I will provide him with a new Cadillac every year, and his wife with a Honda mini-van to transport their children!' The congregation sighs in relief, and applauds. Sam Brown, a successful entrepreneur and investor, stands and says, 'If the Preacher will stay on here, I'll personally double his salary, and also establish a foundation to guarantee the college education of all his children!' More sighs and loud applause. Sadie Jones, age 88, stands and announces with a smile, 'If the Preacher stays, .... I will give him sex!' There is total silence. The Preacher, blushing, asks her, 'Mrs. Jones, whatever possessed you to say that?' Sadie's 90 year old husband Jake is now trying to hide, holding his forehead with the palm of his hand, and shaking his head from side to side, while his wife replies, 'Well , I just asked my husband how we could help, and he said,.....'Screw him!' Isn't being a Senior Citizen wonderful? _Lord,_ _keep your arms around my shoulders and_ _ your hand over my mouth._

If one was to actually ride something like that, down any road in the US, it would be interesting to find out: How many times you'd be stopped? And by who? And how polite they would be about it? I wANT ONE! Please report back on your findings.....

I've always planned to go lighter and tow to the riding destination, when i get older. That opens up the entire "cruiser" bike market. Cheaper, lighter, less expensive. jut need a low, lightweght trailer i can tow behind my Toyota...

Sidecar chassis was new in April 2010 and has 14,200 miles of use. Sidecar body was updated and and air conditioning added in May 2011 and has 5,600 miles of use. Sidecar was custom painted to exactly match Kawasaki colors Candy Diamond Red and Pearl Luster Beige. Sidecar has a disc brake that links to the motorcycle rear brake, mag style wheel, seat belt, removable hardtop with storage bag, cup holder, ice water air conditioning system, chin spoiler, electric tilt control, 12V power adapter, headlight and taillight/turn signal. Included with sale are a wheel dolly, a pair of scissor jacks and a pair of caster wheels that are used to dismount the sidecar from the motorcycle. Also included is a set of disc brake pads for the sidecar. Sidecar is located in Venice FL. Call Roger at 917-697-9449 for more information. Asking $5000 or best offer. Ac?... For 5k?... wow... That's Sweet! Plus it would mean a road trip to florida.... Question is... has it been wrecked as the description clearly states different years for the chassis and body?

The gas was about $2000 for the Cody trip, but the blown engine in my truck was $6,500, plus was lucky I wasn't stranded as still had the bike.. so $8500 without Motel/meal/rally expenses... Thinking about towing the camper out west. Any campgrounds closer than Independence ,OR? Perfer mom and Pop... KOA's suck... IMHO
-
Yes it is... Dan, did you get you first ride in yesterday ? If so, which one did you ride?
-
I'm in... 2600 mi.... no problem. Leaving the truck and trailer at home this time .... Don't want a Cody, WY repeat... WooHoo... Roadtrip, Roadtrip, Roadtrip... Last time I went on a trip, ask if they gave Harley discounts. The clerk replied why yes we do... About 5 min later she went outside for a smoke break and had this big smile on her face.. Hey... before you judge me... never once did I say that I rode a Harley... she just assumed it.. Ha! I like this lawyer speak... could get used to it....maybe even become a politician......naaaaaah!

Eagles, But the Broncos are going "All the way"! *** Edit *** Colts.. only because I can't stand the chiefs... The Chiefs inactivated on week 17: quarterback Alex Smith, running back Jamaal Charles, receiver Dwayne Bowe, linebacker Tamba Hali, linebacker Derrick Johnson, offensive tackle Branden Albert and defensive tackle Dontari Poe...That's 7 top players.. Why?.. to hand the Chargers the win... You see they didn't want the Steelers in the picture... Hey, that's fine... but it really gives people the feeling that they threw the game... like it or not... Nope: not crying for the Steelers. They got their just deserts for not controlling their own destiny... Chargers, Greenbay (both underdogs) *** End Edit ***
