Here's the reply I got from Spencer: Joe Our Ace It polish will cause the water to bead up on your shield but won't give you the complete water shedding effect. Here's a link to another product that we have recommended to other riders. http://wingstuff.com/products/33326-rainzip-rain-repellent?context=gold_wing_gl1800-windshields_accessories Thanks, Spencer Gould TB Industries, Inc. Sounds like a good question for BaggerShield. *** just sent BaggerShield a message., they have a product called Aceit but unsure if that's what it's for *** I either lower the top portion in the rain so I'm not looking thru multiple layers, or look over it. Have more of a problem of the mist sticking to the backs of "all" windshields on a motorcycle. Also wear a full face and the rain streams off of the visor very well. Always keep a Microfiber cloth in my right hand pocket of rainsuit

to which flip up windshield are you referring? I have a Baggershield and it is every bit as rock solid as stock...

Same thing I was told as a young'un... "Your the one responsible for how far you make it in life, so, pull yourself up, by your own bootstraps"... Hoping Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson retire soon as they are helping to keeping their own people in poverty with their hate mongering... Good videos! -
Here's a go pro v ideo... looks like he made an attachment "backpack like" to suspend camera above him... saw this on a German site: http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=epic+go+pro+bridge+riding&FORM=VIRE1#view=detail&mid=145404256B5D0BED6226145404256B5D0BED6226

"Ya know Puc, I may need some help with the machine. It does use heat as its power source. A foundry may be a perfect heat source. ANd since the machine is built out of unobtainium, it can not be melted by any source, so that foundry would be just perfect so see what it can really do." JEFF, JUST DON'T GET THAT DURN FOOL MACHINE ANYHERE NEAR Washington DC OR WE'RE ALL SCREWED!... GLAD YOUR GETTING BETTER...

Great write up Earl... Wish you would have wrote this up earlier.... This year while heading to Colorado, I had my clutch act up. it wouldn't release when lever was pulled in. It was very very hot, over 100 degrees out. Pulled over to side of road, checked oil level(ok)light amber color, clutch fluid level(ok) but the sight glass was tobacco brown. Whoopisie! was kicking myself for not changing with new dot4 same time I did my brakes. After it cooled down(1/2 hour) headed to nearest auto parts store and put new dot4 in clutch. Noticed last week when I start up in morning with clutch lever depressed, in first gear if I reeved it, I could feel the bike slightly pulling. Hoping its just a bubble of air in the clutch slave cylinder ? I'm gonna change the fluids all the way around (bakes, clutch and motor oil). I put your clutch kit in a couple years and have had zero problems... need to get those speed bleeders... do you sell em?

It only takes a second, and it gets worse as you get older...(Don't ask) Glad you're alright! I'm leaning on the side of, "someone" was looking out for you... Your Gaurdian Angel?

Sitting here in bathrobe surfing the internet, totally unmotivated to do anything, because the youngest daughter is hosting her first Thanksgiving this year! Nothing for me to do but eat, drink and watch Football.... Woo Hoo! Special prayers at this time for Jeff, Warden and Puc... -
Purchased the Gerbing glove liner, jacket liner, pants liner, heated insoles and controller last spring on sale and finally had the opportunity to try them out while hunting and all I can say is AWESOME! Posted earlier this year and someone made a suggestion to use the heated gear when hunting, using a spare motorcycle battery or the jacket liner battery. As I needed a deep cycle marine battery anyway, and hunt from a blind, drove up to blind, dropped battery off and parked 4 wheeler about 70 yrds away. Yesterday spent the entire day out with the controllers on, 1/3 rd. of the way and I was ToasTy. On way back with battery on left floorboard of my fourwheeler, a Honda ES 350 I plugged in again! Drove into garage and hooked up to battery tender. I highly recommend this, and thanks to whomever suggested it. (I did look but coudn't find post) WHOO HOO! was actually warm all day, for the first time in my life, while deer hunting in the snow....

Couple things that I'm aware of. 20% off J&M stuff till close of business Monday... Wallmart is going to be selling 7" RCA notebooks for $26 this Thursday at 6 PM. This is the perfect size for the bike and I remember someone on here stating they were going to buy one... anyone else know of any good deals for our bikes?

I've taken a fair amount of video over the years. Have to agree with the Nikon s9700 or similar solution. You have the perfect set up as Lisa likes to ride. The Go Pro will take forward and back video but it won't include you guys... Solution to this problem could be to mount your Go Pro on different bikes, during a ride... Use to film my skiing /Boarding trips but very rarely look at it. The stuff I do look at, from time to time is footage I have that includes friends/family Video with scenery only is boring... IMHO

Dan, Check with DNR. Had a bud that went thru quadruple bypass and he was allowed to hunt off of his four wheeler. In any case, It's illegal to have a weapon loaded while operating a four wheeler.

Puc, You'll be in Pennys an my thoughts and prayers. Listen to the docs. A similar thing happened to me in 2000. Mid Fossa surgery to the brain pan to extract a acoustic neuroma. Everything went well, but like you, there was clear salty fluid dripping from my nose. Doc said not to bend over (tying shoe laces etc...) as it would put undue pressure in my head. Kept a close eye on it for the next couple of days and it stopped leaking. Sounds like your in good hands... Just tell the docs to make sure you're all fixed up in time for riding season....LOL

Congrats to Alyssa and Shawn! Just came in for lunch. Too warm and way to windy (18 mph gusting to 38) Deer don't like to move when its windy... Seen two doe this morning. Got back on 4 wheeler, went to top of mountain and a big 8 point ran across the road about 20 feet in font of me. will go back about 3pm

HD stator / RR is it worth it?
CaptainJoe posted a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Is it worth the effort installing a HD stator and voltage regulator? Have seen quite a few instances where it didn't work out. Need as I purchased Gerbing heated gear . Or can I reduce my voltage draw sufficiently by going to Led? -
Nice pics. That looks like a good place to hold a campout.... hint, hint...
