Also be aware that in Ridgeland County, SC they have a RV parked on the side of I-95 and are using cameras to ticket vehicles as they pass. This is something the town of Ridgeland is doing, the state is working on getting it removed.

We came down for the race, had a blast but tired. Sat on 4th turn, had good but very small seats. All went well at the track, the only negative was it took forever to get from the parking lot 7 to the track. We stayed in Jacksonville, took longer to get to the track from the parking area than it took to get from Jacksonville to Daytona Beach. Weather was perfect, man it was crowded.

Might be time for a fuse panel upgrade kit from skydoc. Search fuse panel under this forum and you will see how I did mine. Did not have to take the fairing apart, but I did see other fuse boxes that held the auto type fuse. If you need wiring diagrams they are under the first gen tech info, or search for them. Sounds like a loose connection to me, I am sure the experts will show up as I am still in the freshman class working on these bikes. Good luck, let us know. -

Talk about procrastination, I see where I first started this thread back in August. Just trying to keep all the plates spinning, lol. Thanks to his forum I have done a lot by myself that I thought I would never do. -

Thank you sir. I will wrap the wires, the bike has two road lights that are not working. That is the white wire in the pics. Going to fix those then wrap. Thanks, Don -

Thanks to Skydoc's kit all is well in fuse land. Take a look at the before and after pics. Also my helper pic. At least I have 1 less thing to worry about. Actually 3 less things, new tires front and rear!!! Thank you skydoc your kit is dead on. I did have to add some jumpers to add wire length so I could reach the new panel. I also labeled ABCDE down the left side and 12345 down the right side and added the diagram to my storage compartment in case sometime down the road I sell the bike. You know so A1, B2, C3 etc. -
Here is our new helper, Cam. Got him about a month ago from the local shelter. This is one incredible dog.

Thank you everybody for your comments and ideas. Thank you Thom for your offer of assistance over the phone. I have bookmarked this post and will take this info with me when I go back down to try to do something. My next plan is to change the ac unit gasket. I think I can do that at the campground and then see what happens. This site is the absolute best.
-
You know I was wondering how the ac was attached to the roof and if there was a gasket........ Thank you, you got me thinking.

Hi Captain, Thanks for the reply and information. I would attempt this myself if I can find a dry spot to do it, perhaps I will see about renting a inside bay at a storage facility for RV's, and let them know what my plans are. I think I could do it myself, given enough time. I know I have one bad area, it is at the rear of the trailer on the left side. Actually had a hole in the roof a couple of years ago. You could put your fist through it. I did find out there is no rafter in that section, it is like it got cut off short when it was built and they just covered it up with the rubber roof. I patched that area real well, I don't think that is where my problem is. I stopped at Camping World and was given a rough price of $4000.00 for total roof replacement. Wow, book value on the camper according to KBB is $1900 tops.

Maybe we need a Maintenance Day for RV's lol.

Okay, I have a 96 Fleetwood Terry RV travel trailer model 29S and I need a roof repair. Getting water in it, I have sealed every spot, still leaks. Probably looking at a entire roof replacement, anyone here know how to do that? Anyone here do it for a living or can do it as a side job and any idea what it would cost? Trailer is stored at Pirateland at Myrtle Beach. Trailer is about 31' long no slides. Ideal plan would be to come down and get the trailer to a site for a day or two and let the repairs take place. Thanks in advance, Don

Depending on the date I am interested. Updating my fuse panel this weekend, tires already done, maybe this thing (the Venture) will be a little more reliable and I wont be afraid to take it more than 30 miles from the house, lol.

Update, I have the fuse panel repair kit coming from Skydoc. Looks like I have a fun weekend coming up. So solder is the way to go, not crimps? Thanks, Don -
Right Rear Bag Removal
SC89Venture replied to GolfVenture's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
There are cap screws to remove from the inside of the case. Remove the rubber liner laying on the bottom, and you will see them. 10mm wrench I believe. -
I did notice that when they went to a commercial it was full screen and then when they came back to the game the picture "adjusted" itself pretty quickly.

Wow, people do like to complain. Come on it was a great game, who cares if the half time show sucked? Life is great.
-
Just a thought, is there a rest button hidden somewhere you push with a straightened out paper clip? Tom Tom and Garmin have those.
-
It sounded like they were having mike problems. Probably a good show if you were their.

Congrats on the new ride.
