  1. I have a 2003 when my fuel gauge turns to" F" I can go 9 miles before it starts to sputter then another 20 or so on reserve. Has never taken more than 5.4 gallons on the refill. I some times wonder if it is really a 6.0 gallon tank?

  10. I had the same problem, I do not know if this will help but you can give it a try. Pull passenager seat and check to make sure that the coax cable going in to left armrest is not pinched, if it is reroute it, mine was pinched. Almost every time I hit a bump it would go off then out of the blue it would come back on.Rerouted has worked every since:fingers-crossed-emo

  23. I have a 2003 rsv with 64k miles on it , there is a chirping noise coming from the area around the universal joint. I am wondering if anyone has serviced or replaced theirs, what is involved and how hard a job is it?
  24. I had the same problem, try this with the bike running and your headset pluged in turn the wheel to the right, then the left if it gets louder to the right, the coax running under the left side of bike, under your gas tank is picking up noise. Try moving the coax ,and if all else fails insulate the coax or replace it.
  25. You might have a bad output transistor in the amp, only way to find is to split upper fairing every thing will be right there in front of you. get your VOM and start checking
