  1. I have found that the vents are only noticeably useful when riding in high temperatures. Air can be deflected inward toward the engine. In the cold they make very little difference. My Kury Longhorns did interfere for my leg length. If my legs were an inch longer or shorter there would not have been a problem. So... I notched the vent. I cut a 1 inch diameter notch about a half inch deep into the lexan using a dremel then sanded edge to match the rest. Now the vents open all the way and it looks fine to me. I can post pics if you like but I've got to be off to work.

Huh-uh.... not me. I'm not going back to stock ever. My Avons transformed the RSV into an enjoyable ride. I can now ride the twisties with confidence where with stock, holding my chosen line through a curve was a chore. Go Avon!
  3. Yep. Went looking for a toy today while Santa Barbara Motorsports installed the last remaining parts from the accident. The nightmare is over. But no toy yet.
  4. Jack, do you think the factory reps at the San Mateo show will hear and pass on owner input? I don't mind having the cassette player that I don't use, but I'd like to plug the MP3 lead in without having to open the cassette door. Gary in Lompoc:cool10:
