My 2009 RSV had a simaler problem as yours. Turn your wheel to the right and look behind the headlight below the triple clamp my wires were cut and shorted out against the frame. Not that hard a job to take the front ferring apart to locate the fuse. Who installed your lights? If the dealer installed your lights then they should fix it, especially if the wires are cut. Any where near Katy, TX????? I could help. Hal

Hi I had a tv set that was under warranty @ Best Buy. I had to have the repair man come to repair the tv set 3 times for the same problem. They told me that under the Lemon Law, since I had it repaired 3 times for the same thing, I could get a brand new tv set. Which I did get a brand new set. Now I know this is not a tv set, but I was wondering since you are still under warranty, I was thinking maybe you could get a new truck under the Lemon Law. However, I live in Texas and I don't know if you have the Lemon Law where you live. But, it might be worth checking out. Hal

I have a 2009 RSV OD at 30,000 I think my fuel pump has gone out. I can ride a quarter of a mile and then it will shut off as if it is not getting fuel. I stop and tap on it and it will go again. If your fuel line is disconected and no fuel in the lines should your fuel pump run and run or should it shut off after a few seconds. As this is what mine is doing. Thanks for reading this. Hope I can get some answers. By the way my bike is still under warranty, I just hate to take it to the dealership. Hal

When on about a 100 miles trip this weekend. Charging system seems to be fine, however still charging @ 13.8, but I did not take my trailer which has regular lights and no leds. I don't know if it will keep up the charge running the trailer. Hal PS Our daughters wedding was AWESOME!!!

Update took it to Yamaha they put in a voltage regulator and that was it. It seems to be working on about 2000 RPM Rev. I am only getting about a 13.8. Everyone on the site says it suppose to be 14.5. The Dealer says this is adequate that 13.8 is fine. I checked battery at Yamaha it says its fine. I don't think they checked the stator at all. I guess I will ride it and see..... Hal
