That sounds awesome as Val and I were thinking the same thing. Oh yeah a funny thing happened last night. As you know I am Halalmost There and we were going out to dinner last night with the wedding group on our bike, and using the GPS. It took us to the wrong resteraunt. So then I put it in again with a little bit of a different name to the resteraunt we rode down the road a couple of miles from there and took a right and on the right hand side of the road was a big business and on the Side of the building it said Blue Bell Ice Cream. Unbeliveable but TRUE and on the end of that street was the resteraunt we needed to be at. We hope you can wait till we get back this week from our trip. We are 30 miles just outside of Memphis. We would really like to go on that ride with y'all. Don was truly an awesome guy and he will be missed. But, if you go before we get back we understand. We should be back by this Wednesday. Wow so hard to believe that Gunboat is gone. He will always be in our hearts and prayers. Especially every time we eat Blue Bell Ice Cream because that was a favorite of his. We are one of the Houston crew, and we rode our bike to a wedding in Madison, Alabama. We will dedicate the rest of our ride home to Gunboat. Rest in Peace Gunboat you will be missed by so many of us. Hal n Val

I don't think it is a bent rotor cause you don't feel it when you push on the brakes. You only feel it when you are easing on the gas in second gear you can go back and forth with the throttle and feel it.

No I haven't but this doesn't do it when you are on the gas hard or coasting. It only happens when you barley moving in second gear.

When riding my 09 RSV in second gear and barely giving her the gas, it feels like something rubbing sort of like when you were riding your 10 speed with hand brakes and the brake pad would rub on the bent wheel and make it feel kind of like its surging. You let off the gas and it goes away. On the gas more than easy you don't feel it either. I know this sounds strange but has anyone felt anything close to what I am trying to describe? Hal

I want to give thanks to my brothers and sisters that served for me. As I did not get drafted or volunteer to go, as sometimes I wonder why I didn't. But I have 3 brothers that volunteered. Hi did you try turning up the mike volume? I have mine set on 15 which is kind of high, but my wife can only hear out of one ear. I use very cheap head seats they are only about 89.00 a piece. I do have a mike mute which is nice as you can cut off the mike when not in use. Still waiting on Buddy Riches cable. Should be soon. Hal:cool10:

:confused24:I have switched the base unit out from the 450 to the 550 and it did not work. I tried to hook it between the bike and the helmet. That did not work either. So as I said I am sending it back thanks guys Hal

Done beating my head against the wall since Saturday. Switched the Zumo base from the 450 to a 550 base as they look the same. Tried the cable every way I possibly could. I disconnected the mite mute. Nothing! Hooked it up directly to the helmet and the bike just like you said still nothing. Will try to ship it back to you tomorrow. I guess it got damaged in the shipping. Thanks, Hal:(

I have a Zumo 550. As far as I know the cable only works on Zumos. My question is, is a Zumo 450 base different than a 550? To me it looks exactly the same. It has two holes to plug in on both of them they are identical looking. Maybe there is a difference inside. I do have the 550 mount so I will give this a try and take the 450 mount off. The cable does not work directly with mike mute removed and jus the cable. I hooked it up with mike mute first like Freebird said with know results. Tomorrow will try the other base to see if there is a difference. The cable came in a badly damaged package so, maybe there is a problem with the cable. The 550 works just fine with blue tooth in the car. But will try one more time stay tuned. Hal

:fingers-crossed-emoPut Buddy Riches cable in yesterday. It does not work. I do have a Mike Mute. So is there something I need to do so I can have both??I don't know scratching my head. I appreciate any thoughts on this matter. Thanks, Hal
