  1. PM sent! Continued prayers!
  2. Rut Roh!!! I see soooooo many possiblities.. Put a round roll cage on it and strap yourself in to be a flying human snowball! Motor used to get you to the top and then hold on for the roll down.....:big-grin-emoticon: Then..........
  3. I have a little project in mind for my 06 tour deluxe so I am looking for a used even beat up seat of any brand (corbin, oem or mustang). I don't even care if it has any leather on it or foam. I just do not want to experiment with one that is usable right now. I saw a bike that had been reworked with a "different" design in the leather and I am wanting to try my hand at it since I have a little extra leather hanging around the shop. The other thing is I want to see of I can fashion a bracket for the passenger portion that we can use for handles and cup holders etc. The seat I saw mimics a car seat with button and tuck design. I am just not sure if I want the small buttons on it. Have any of you seen anything like this and what are your thoughts. PM me if you have anything that may work.
  4. Still praying!
  5. I think I would hove some fun on the bouncy bike!
  6. Duncan = Yo Yo's Dunkin = Doughnuts Just saying.... signed, son of yo yo full of doughnuts! :fatsmiley:
  7. In my younger days I used to climb up to 100ft towers for my fellow hams. Now, much over my 6'3" frame and my knees get a little wiggly! I think back how many times I did some stupid stuff while on the towers. BTW...HECK NO....I WON'T GO... I sat in amazement watching this the first time a few months ago.

    Hello

Welcome to another NC person. Even close! Let me know when you want to ride.
  9. Fieldsheer Hi-vis yellow www.compacc.com Very breathable, wear leather under it when it is really cold, has waterproof liner (removable) and can adjust to be used just by itself.
  10. FRAMIT! That makes me mad! >>> QC obviously did not have their glasses on with that one.
  11. I have a set of standard flashing mounted each side of my license plate. They only come on while brake is on and keep flashing until released. My wife says at night they are really aggravating. :thumbsup2: During the day,I wish they were bigger but they do get a little attention.
  12. I have to agree on the extra "push" that the dual axles might give. It will surely want to go straight. I think the bike might be heavy enough for dry rides but I sure would be creating a "leather funnel" while riding it wet. I like the concept though..keep us informed. Tom
  13. Yes, except sometimes in a group.
  14. Just finished my longest, a little over 1100 miles round trip from Charlotte to Cape Canaveral, for the Florida meet and eat. I enjoyed every mile. (except for 1 or 2 when the cage idiots tried to rule our lane) Get on out there and ride, ride, ride.
  15. Is it 1:00 yet? I'm ready for the early breakfast!
  16. I was glad when they opened up in Rock Hill, SC. Only about 15-20 miles down the road. They have always been like "normal people" to me also.

    screen name

Not real creative here either Tom D's Tour Deluxe = TD'sTD Hummmmm now I feel I need to add some more safety chrome to offset my boring screen name.
  18. My wife laughed pretty hard at the golfer "funny" earlier. I should not have laughed so hard at this one..... Why does laughing at a joke change the temperature of a whole house???
  19. Me neither! :stickpoke:
  20. I sew my own but you can find some high dollar camping hammocks at several places. www.junglehammock.com www.speerhammocks.com Just to list a few.
  21. Sleep in a hammock.. it is alot better for your back! I will never go back to the ground. Check Pic
  22. Not usually bothered by watching something like this on TV but.... Feeling just a little anxious and glad as heck it isn't me. Don't think i would like to drive anything there. The show is keeping me from going to bed.
  23. Hey, do you think I can ride in front of you for awhile? I make funny now....you make funny when I go... Deal? Seriously, I am getting the pressure from my wife too. It has become a weekly topic. I hope all is well when the dust settles. TD
  24. Used to climb (as a youngster) my elmer's tower to "fix" things. I have 60 ft tower in my back yard now. (I guess I should just call that a stick now after viewing this) I know how I feel when I have to go to the top of the 60 and when they said they were transitioning to the actual antenna and ONLY had another 60 to go....... Well, I'm glad I was sitting down. I should be able to stand back up in a little while:big-grin-emoticon: I have great admiration for those guys.
  25. A hair dryer will help you smooth and work the leather.. It looks great though. I am doing mine with off white leather. In the pics below, I sewed all the hammocks and tarps. Knowing how will save you lots of $$$$$$
