Mine is a very long and interesting story that took years of creativity. Actually I used to be TD'sTD on here until I sold my tour deluxe... (creative too huh?) T..... first letter of first name Dunc .... First four of my last name... SORRY I'M BORING. I could actually post this on the boring post and maybe win.

Dan, I would have been honored to come up and ride with you going back to MD. I had had plans to go but a little surgery wednesday kinda took it out of the picture. No driving for 5 days said the doc and especially no riding for at least 2 weeks. Glad you made it up there and look forward to seeing you soon.

Can not say but a few things.. 1) Wow what a story so far. Thank you for taking the time to put it all together for us. 2) Regarding your starting temperature....I thought AKRefugee and I were crazy leaving for a 9 hour ride at 3:00am in 35 degree weather.... You are the man! -

My 6am 38 degree rides to the great metropolis of Gastonia are just on the verge of too crazy, then I enjoy the 60+ degree ride home and I smile all the way.

Yes I have Cabin #8 booked for Friday and Saturday. Right now I have one bed booked and one open. Let me know if anyone wants to split for that one.

Could just be a carb sync that you need. I would do that first before you tear into the carbs. (IMHO) I would also run some sea foam through them. I do have an old mercury sync tool. Send me a PM and we will set a date to sync them.

I had an 06 tour deluxe. Stock shield and my wife never said a word about being blown around. Ride a venture now but have an F4 tall and wide with vent. -

I hate I'm going to miss it but work is calling this weekend... I hate this last minute, oh we forgot, we need to fix it now kinda crap.... Do another and I'll put in for it WAY EARLY... That actually would not have mattered in this instance. several people had time off cancelled.
