You are 100% correct that it is parents responsibility. But with examples like this and others I was just saying it makes our job harder. You or I make a moral misjudgment, we don't get a second chance at our jobs in most circumstances. Sent from my DROIDX

As so did I. I followed it up with my own personal opinion about his personal life. So No, im not kidding. As I said, he did well. Held on like no other. Sent from my DROIDX

Yes, He did well to have the boo boo's he had and still pull it out. I just hope his wife is still getting half. It is hard to coach middle school kids and try to teach morals when all the big money makers keep making bad choices and then they still have a chance to make big money. Moral of the story...morals don't count anymore... JMHO

Isn't that the home of the Jackelope?

How about multiple different "side view mirror" shots that do include a motorcycle with the driver then moving, turning etc. into a colision sound one right after the other then at the end the multiple drivers all saying back to back "i did not see him". Then in silence slowly scroll through all the mirror shots again only frozen and in silence with the final sentence put up in at the end. "Look and let them live" JMHO

Good to go! Hammockforums is a great place to find info. Let me know what you are using.

I would almost spend a few nights "camping out"... Watch out for the wild life.

Ahhhh Now I understand.. :big-grin-emoticon:

Now how the heck does that help you catch more fish???? :stickpoke: Nice Catch! I think that constitutes as "safety chrome" for the Venture.

These are not really His and Hers... We have not found one she can reach the ground on. See, she is just a little height challenged. For a while, she allowed these and proudly rode on the back of either. They are still a pretty pair

Get off the ground and sleep in a camping hammock. I have not slept on the ground in years and my back appreciates it. I sew my own equipment but there are many options out there from about 40 bucks to several hundred. It requires a little different way of thinking but it really saves the back. Another advantage, when it's raining, you dont have to get wet to make one of your nightly "visits" Check out two of mine below. Packs smaller than most tents and weighs less too. BUT... If you are looking for a mattress, spend just a few extra $$ to get something other than air only mattress... They are usually a little warmer(keeps the chill off the old bones) and cooler in the summer. Youg get what you pay for.

I'm not so sure that would be an invasion. If it is on the internet, that usually is considered public information. Was it necessarily inappropriate for the manager to discuss it? I would think so but again I don't see where he really did anything wrong. Now, would I be happy about it? NOPE. But realize that two can play at that game... hmmmm have your checked what he has read lately. I would make sure that was discussed at the table next time..:big-grin-emoticon: I am comfortable that unless the info was used for financial or personal gain, there is not anything foul but just bad taste. I have no facebook or similar account for just that reason. There is enough info out there for anyone to see already. Be careful what you put put there.. Even if you post here, anyone can find it even after you delete it here. Too many bots storing things for later retrieval for financial gain. This post as always is IMHO

EDIT 3/21/12= After receiving a few emails stating that this post was not proper.... I am offering an apology for the comments here. I only meant good clean ribbing and in no way meant to offend, demean or otherwise make anyone's experience here anything but positive. I only offer that sitting at home with heavy allergies kept me from being out riding and therefore allowed me time to sit at the computer. I choose to leave what was said hopefully so it will not get blown out of proportion by not seeing what was said. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take it off the jack......... Seriously, there are some kits out there to lower the back (and front). try a search of lowering links and see if you can find them. I am sure someone will chime in but Sorry, I had to be the first to give a Smart___ answer.:stirthepot: EDIT - see, Randy was being a gentleman and answering it correctly for you already.

Yep, sunday night I went back to the DOC IN a Box. they told me my ears were full and my sinuses were inflammed (for this I paid $85....duuuuhhhh!) They gave me some more medicine and they told me to minimize my outside exposure....(This said to the middle school baseball coach.) I do have some yellowish/brownish splotches from being outside....It just gives my freckled body a little more character... and yes Kevin, before you say anything, It is the shade of YAK POO!:rotf: Bottom line, I am getting a little better, I can see without tearing and I can breathe some without gaging. Thanks for the comments... I will ride again

How does something so small mess up a wonderful day of riding. 69 degrees here in Charlotte and I can not see for more than a few moments before the tears make it difficult to see. These little particles of pollen are killing my only day to ride for a while and I'm not happy. Medicine is not touching the nose, sinus cavity or eyes...... Here is what it says locally: http://www.wunderground.com/DisplayPollen.asp?Zipcode=28214 Final Word....... THIS STINKS! I hope someone is enjoying the day. Ride a few extra miles for me.

Ok, took a wet ride Saturday before last. Temp was about 55 and it was very misty. I decided to do a short ride to see how the shield handled some water. I am still waiting for it to get warmer to do the full rain test. I left the house and immediately saw the difference in how it handled water versus the OEM shield. If you have ever Rainexed your car shield, then you know the effect. Even though it was not raining hard, it did not take but a mile or so for enough water to accumulate to start running off. Speeds at this time were only 35 or so. Still in the residential area. In just a few miles, I turned on the interstate to run over to Gastonia and was still amazed at how clear it stayed. I also rode with the shield up on my helmet to see if I would be getting any of the runoff as it left the shield and blew by. I only remember getting hit once by a glob that was dead center on the top as the wind blew it off. Yes I ducked... At no time, even with the heavy mist, did the shield ever get to the point I could not see through it. This was the part that really pleased me. With the OEM I was constantly looking over the shield only to get pelted with the blow off and rain. I am still convinced that this is a great shield. Now, as I have no intentions of cleaning the shield for a while :big-grin-emoticon:to see how well it does clean up, I was surprised to find that the few bug things on the shield when I started this semi wet ride where no longer there after I got back home. Total length of this ride... approx 30 miles round trip. The report of the first all day ride two up coming up soon.......

I am really glad that your daughter is ok. I have to agree with the 650 vs TD... I think the weight really helps. May she have continued days of healing.
