    The way to test is one wire with a spark plug connected to the bad cyl grounded out to the cyl head try this , Or if your brave :pushups:and drunk to your tongue lol..     I have entered into the states on the Eastern Niagara,Cornwall Buffalo 100's of times the Sweet grass Guards. They treated me and 5 other Canadians like scum!!!     Well I had a motor for my Venture and I was going to get it in Idaho. I had just received my new passport the US homeland needs for us Canadian bad boys "eh" so I'm at Sweet grass Montana customs I give them my shinny virgin passport and I swear the homeland computer sh#t itself.. Pulled over slammed into the glass security holding area ,I hear on the intercom get the K9. After several Hours printed and tossed out of the States.. So I got Banned.. I have an appointment next week with a immigration lawyer to fix this . I have traveled so many times in the US, this totally sucks I'm going to wear a turbin.http://vfrworld.com/photos/data/743/slobber.gif. Update.. Went to the lawyer and it's in his hands now. more later.:mo money::mo money:

    Strip the mule. Drop the engine Replace the damaged second gear bits. Polish the engine. Clean everything on the bike Hope to have the new digs with the heated garage Very nice Towney I found by some great Friends. tired of living in a basement suite. Need to get above the ground. Start to do the restore to the Honda 1984 VF 1000 Engines been done now to do the Repsol look with this one. Trans has somewhat a common issue: Second gear was out of the bike when I bought her Interceptor Rocket in the 3,4,5 gears but still needed the 2nd repair so after many months of searching for parts here and in Europe, finally gathered the parts to get her together, Many more parts and fairings to obtain along with the paint . Well you all get the picture what is on the winter plate for all of us . So all have fun getting the rides together...Cheers Mike R.. Having fun with this hobby..

    Been on Eflea. Found some real neet parts to bad the bike are a distant dream of some owner . But I found a boost unit a pair of real nice engine covers, all the tabs in place!! The new trans repair kit arived , that pesky 2nd gear is going to be fixed over the winter and I have found a new home for me 3bdroom towny with a garage to kill for and the rent is great.. looking forward to the Venture comming apart So thanks to all who have been so helpfull!!!     I have started to use Shell prem. here in Calgary and Sunoco when in other provinces. I have used Husky as they have a higher octane at 94 but it is expensive. here is a question. can the first gen such as 1983 1200 engines, use a lower octane? Or should I carry on using a premium grade. Cheers Mike R...

    Well I was going to get the engine and carbs but today I was turned away at Sweet grass Customs .Problem with the Canadian ME.. Some problem with my new Passport and I have to have the RCMP check out why so I cant get down to get the engine and carbs So I hope someone buys it Or delivers it to me in Calgary( ya right) I am disapointed..Lot of time and US money obtained that I have to put back into my bank and get ripped of on exchange,, Thank Gannon for your effort's..
