  1. Thanks for being such a good sport. It's been so long since the Buckeyes have one a post season game I couldn't help myself. It certainly kept everyone on the edge of their seats during the entire 4th quarter, more than I can so for most of the games thus far.
  2. You can use one of the delay relays, here is a link for a company that makes ones for autos and MCs:http://www.wolstentech.com/products/timedelayrelay/timedelayrelay.php Here is a link to one of the Suzuki Intruder do it yourself pages with pics: http://www.moccsplace.com/images/hswitch/hswitch.htm
  3. Wally, Hate to burst your bubble but I think the Buckeyes just beat your pigglets:banana:
  4. When you get to Salt Lake City Utah my wife Lorraine and I would love to meet you. Either for an M & E or if you want someone to ride with to see our beautiful canyon and alpine rides. Dan
  5. Welcome from a fellow Vet and Utah resident, SLC
  6. Always on, but did install the switch on the fairing in case I want to shut them off ie low battery
  7. On the spur of the moment I decided to ride out to California to surprise my brother for his 60th b-day. Left Salt Lake City on Thursday morning on my '08 RSV and 13 hours later arrived at friends house near LA after 784 miles, even with a 140 mile detour. It was 35 degrees when I left but warmed up with time and heading South. Spent 3 days in Santa Barbara then headed home on Monday, 793 miles and 13 hours later pulled into my driveway. I had forgotten how beautiful that ride is. All I can say is I LOVE THIS BIKE. Cruised at 70-80 mph most of the way and the bike just hummed nicely all the way. The electronic cruise control and my mp3 player made the trip so easy, I wasn't really tired at all. Just under 1800 miles total.
  8. Put me down for two of the 16 oz size

  13. Glad you weren't hurt worse. The drivers here in Utah suck!
  14. Finally got some warm enough weather to ride up the canyon last week. Between the cold and rain it's been tough to get a long ride in. Here's a pic at 8735 ft
  15. I stopped by the dealer about my 08 and he said they can't order a specific basket. I told him I wanted an I and he said they just send a basket and he wouldn't know what kind it was until he got it. Anyone know if that is BS or not?
  16. Yeah, there is a Gunnison UT too, a whooping 3000 people more or less live there. Digger
  17. First, I've lived in Salt Lake City for 16 years and the traffic here is no worse than any other city during rush hour - avoid rush hour times at all costs just like you would LA, Denver, Chicago etc. Second, the Durango area has great MC rides. Might I suggest at trip out to Mesa Verde National Park just West of Durango. There are over 600 cliff dwellings built by the ancient ones. Easy to spend an entire day there. Then next day head up the "Million Dollar Highway"550 to Silverton, Ouray and spend the night in Telluride. Don't forget to ride to the dead end in Telluride to see the waterfall. Next day continue the loop back to Durango or go North to Gunnison to see the Black Canyon

  23. Brought home the 08 RSV three weeks ago and haven't been able to ride due to snow. Today it got up to 35 and the roads were dry so I went for an 80 mile ride. Man I needed that, I was going nuts just looking at it sitting in the garage. Digger
