I know what you are saying OldBear.I have a Honda St1100.The darn thing is so quiet I have to look at the speedo to keep myself in check.I think I am going back to a cruiser style just to make sure I dont hit the payment.When I saw at the WNY meet a guy with the same bike as mine that said on his speedo that said "Slowdown" it was not only me. I dont ride that much but the bike is tempting.I think I am moving to another 1st or 2nd Gen.

I like your idea with the hazard switch.My switch went out on my bike too.I took it apart and cleaned it.I turn signals worked again.

I tend to agree with youi about the bikes.Although the BMW is nice and fast it does not seem to have enough creature comfort for me and the passenger.If you are going to spend upwards of 25-30k ,my money is on the GW hands down.

If you become a member, I am sure one of us could help you look at this bike.It is just a visual inspection to see if you see rust at the joint.I had 2 ,83.My doner 83 had the broken frame.I sold it to a guy that I think is repairing it and putting it back on the road. The 83 is the fastest.Lots of power too.

I have loved these bikes since they came out.My question is about heat.Is it hot to drive with.When the fan kicks in do you get toasted.?I am toasted enough...LOL:cool10:

I have a honda st1100.I have never had a rattlesnake jump into my jacket.The guy I bought it from didn't tell me it caught snakes.I just thought it caught cars!!!!!!!
