never thouhgt about the bra or paintless dent repair. good idea.. yep health is doing ok. had gallbladder taken out last week. had all my meds redone. now that they got the proper doseage. im feeling pretty good. still cant do over a 50 or 70 mile ride before im tired. but hey at least im out there.. with all the help here im getting it running good. next is a paint job and fix the fairing cracks.. it just irks me to hurt her bike like that but accidents happen.. i did send her a text. about what happened. no answer back yet!!! for the life of me i dont know what i was thinking? of putting that rake up there.. i was just tired and wanted to go home. and just did a brain fart i guess? it could have been worse as its one of them garden rakes long and pointy. could have hit someone and hurt them.... it can be fixed.. as for doc checking my head. im sure he wont find nothing up there LOL

well i went and done it now.. while putting away Dianne,s bike. after being a good boy and cleaning the garage. i put a rake up in the rafters well i guess i didnt get it up there good enough?? i placed both bikes in the garage with hers right under that damn rake.. i closed the garage door and heard a crash!!! so i went back in the side door and there it was rake hit her gas tank. nice. scratch and about a quarter size dent..... so how much will a body shop charge me to paint and fix the dent? its silver in color if that makes any differance? my mistake i have to man up to it... well since shes still up in north dakota her arms cant reach that far to smack me upside the head.. that will teach her to leave me .. almost have her talked into not staying up there... she hates them 12 to 14 hr shifts. but loves being with her mom.. just hope i can that tank painted for under $100 bucks i hope? or as close to that amount as possible..

its ok mini just that with my MS sometimes colors gets washed out. from my medication. still nice bike. now pass the course and enjoy it...........

nice verry nice. you lower it 3 inches? put on 12 inch tires? you be good to go. but realy i like it great job. is it white and gray like my friend Dianne,s is ?or silver. im a little color blind when it comes to silver or gray?

i found out this woman worked for JC whitney here in Lasalle IL worked in the ware house and shipping for over 9 years. seems good old JC whitney is selling out to another company??? and of course they are going to down size. i allways say if it aint broke dont fix it.. i guess i was raised by a good mother. taught me to give. even if i dont have that much to give. $20 bucks could by me a full tank of gas in the bike and a little joy for the day. what i gave that single mom and her daughter was priceless. and who knows that could have been and angel testing me???

today i was out for a small ride on the bike. well turns out its the toys for tots ride today in and around my town. no i wasent in it. i was just out for a ride. i spotted a little girl selling kool aid on the road the bikes where going down.. of course they couldnt stop. planned route and police leading the way.. so i went around the block and pulled in to the parking lot next to where this girl was selling her koolaid.. i took off my helmet walked over and said how,s it going little one. she said MR biker sir. i have not sold any.i said how much i will take a large glass she said sir its 50 cents. i said i will take 2. she said 2 why 2? i said one for you and one for me. i gave her my dollar. and talked to her some more. then she began to cry.. i said why you crying? she said sir my mommy was crying today. its the first time i saw my mommy cry. i said oh . she said yes my mommy told me she lost her job yesterday and things are going to be hard for us but we will make it through. so i told mommy i will help. and she helped me set up this stand. i thought with all the bikers comming through i could make some money.. see every sunday mommy would take me to mcdonalds for a happy meal. its our special girls day out. and i wanted to give santa my list this year. well that brought a hard lump to my throat. so i thanked her and said im sure santa will know. about your mommy and things will work out. then off i went. i drove straight up to mcdonalds and got 20 dollars in gift coupons. i never thought twice about it. i went back. to see the girl and her mom putting away the stand. i asked her mom to come over and i said to her and her daughter. santa sent this as a early present. and he would like you to call this special number to give him her list.. its a number to a friend of mine in the marine corps toys for children. he said he will make it a special request for this child. so this child now has at least one special day at mcdonalds with her mommy. and soon will have a nice christmas when it comes. like i said best koolaid i ever had ..

i think this is so cool. i have a little monkey i have as a ridding partner his name is george. he wears boxing gloves hence why i named him george. he went over 6000 miles in one year on his fight for cancer trip.. and raised over 2 grand . but at last the one hes was fighting for lost his battle with pancreatic cancer.. that was my brother dale . the money went to help research this type of cancer.. because by the time they find it. theres not much time for that person..

my great niece had to do a research on labor day she found out that over 70% of the work force work on labor day. 60% never get that day off unless they work 2 years for there company. over 80% get that day off without pay.. wow some holiday huh????

thanks squid just 30 miles today. if i still feel this good on monday? then im going to try a 50. im not out to set a mile record this year LOL lets see total miles this season a little over 450. i did notice with the medication im on for some reason i can make my uturns better LOL im going to see what 5th gear does tomorrow? i never had the bike out where i can do this. so im thinking 1st up to 40 then second up to 55? then try for 85 in 5th. thats as fast as i want to go on this bike for now.. im looking to see if the old chrome from my old side covers can be put on the ones i just got from ebay. that open space sure puts heat on your legs.. then i need new grips these are still the origional and are showing there age ...

thanks dan right as usual im going to check on new gaskets cant be too hard to replace? i did have the oil changed prior to me getting sick and i think its a little over full? with a grunt and a groan and neighbors help i got her up on center stand and notiiced oil is a little past half way mark on the sight glass? this winter im going to do some things to her. im looking at fixing the damn fuse box. darn headlight fuse gets lose and pops once in a while? damn tabs are getting bad.. someone here sells a fix for this i think? then i neeed to save up more $$ for condors fork brace. then use dingys cool tool he sold me and do steering head. im going to name the bike summertime cause summertime she runs great summertime not so good but never has left me stranded and not get home. then plastic work. you know i have thought about selling it then just one good day of it running like it should makes ya think long and hard. next season im looking to add a second bike. i had that yamaha maxim but sold it. so im looking a maybe another one just as a backup...

jerry im thinking its a 45 as it just keeps going up past an old school. down around county rd 425 north and go out to I 39 here in illinois you round a corner here on 251 shoot up this hill for 2 miles before it levels off. then half a mile of flat road then straight down hill its fun and a little bit scarry. i never was good in math but let me tell ya it makes truckers pucker up going down that thing. as soon as you get to the bottom you have about a quater mile before you hit this little tiny town and slow down to 30mph???

seeing as i hope Dianne dont come on here and read this? its a nice in the 80,s day and im feeling pretty darn good. so i thought hey oldgoat take the venture out and see what dianne was talking about it bogging down. well i fire her up and take off. first i made some phones calls to family and friends and gave them my route i was going to take.. well off i go. im going along nice and steady. then theres a 45 degree uphill road. ok heres a good place to test the bogging?? i crank it up to 45mph in second and just hung on to the throttle. shot up that hill hitting 60mph in second maybe not a good thing? hit the flat top road hit 3rd and cranked it again and hit 75mph.. the i just dropped it into 4th. and stayed there. never put it in 5th. as this road is a 45 mph road and its getting close to the end of the month .can we say this road is a speed trap road because as soon as you hit the bottom of this road it drops to 30mph. small town about 125 population. well im thinking that that number 3 sparkplug cap i cleaned and snapped back on migh have something to do with the bogging. they had and now i fixed it?? also the seafoam and premium gas might have finaly cleaned something in the carbs?? so i had a good day untill i got home and noticed oil burring smell?? i think i have a small vale cover leak on the front left side as i see some grim and oil residue there?? not a biggie. just might need a little tighten down on it. also noticed that left handle bar seems in a little? now i think that the repair shop dropped another bike on mine. as the farring was cracked. so is there any punch marks on the bars to see if it it shiffted? or god forbid its bent some. im thinking this is what makes the front wobble some? im trying to ride and keep bars straight and im pulling the left bar when i shouldnt??
