man im sure going to miss this. but after my daughters wedding in MN price of gas to get there hotel rooms food ect ect it drained my MD savings down to $40 while your all enjoying the fun at Dons i will be in a hot stuffy storage garage putting the radiator and hoses back on the bike. while im in there maybe a new thermostat/ if i can figure out where to get one? but anyways enjoy the fun.

Leaking Radiator or Roadkill

lets see black pepper for the radiator. sawdust for the rear end. transmission fluid down the old carbs stopped the smoking oil. dribble some warm water down the carb to blast the carbon out of the car. none of you would happen to be an old car salesman i once new:whistling: a nylon panty hose made a good alternator belt in an emergency wrap around the pulleys and tie a knot in it. -

could be the TCI got wet? when i first bought my 84 i did a power wash to get bird poop off of it. and well it ran like crap for a few days then one nice 80 degree temp day it ran good again. now im no expert on here so im sure someone else will chime in with more...

glad your ok that was way to darn close. also glad the drivers are ok. i dont know how many times i tould my relatives to put that damn cell phone on vibrate or just let it go to voice mail.. good driving and aware ness on your part.

of course MD they not only fix up the bikes but make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside and out. but be carefull listen to the docs. take your time relax and enjoy.

it amazes me how young uns know it all. i had the phrase of oh chit this is going to hurt. and of course mom and dad had the hospitial bills to prove that in fact it did. did it stop me from doing stupid things nope:no-no-no:

well the oldgoats back ite been a hectic few days up in Brainerd MN. the wedding of my daughter Amber to her husband Justin was great. but like most weddings it rained. then right after the sun came out for the reception. of course a church made for 200 pepole was over packed and hot as he$$. no one passed out. i got along with the step dad as we both walked her down the isle. sometimes old wounds must be coverd up for the child. my daughter and I danced to the song i held her first. and of course i cried. and of course i forgot my camera but will be getting a picture album from her and my son-in-law. im verry proud of this young man he fought a heart transplant and all kinds of medical problems and came out of a coma to keep his promise to be with Amber. she was by his side day and night. now there together for life. there off now on there honeymoon up in Dulth MN to start on my future grandkids.

could use a few prayers. well im getting ready to head up to MN tomorrow to get ready for my daughters wedding. things where going good most of the day. got my basic things done laundry ect ect. all packed car full of gas. went to my sisters to get her gps to use. im not there more then 5 minutes when a knock on her door and theres a man who said im sorry but my wife just hit your car and a little girl. damn im not to worried about the car but my great niece was out there when i pulled up. sister and I went flying out the door. great niece was ok and standing on the sidewalk. the lady who hit my car also backed over her own child. she was backing out of her driveway and didnt know the child got out of the van to tell her daddy goodbye.. they where going to go get icecream at the local rootbeer stand. my car can be fixed but the poor little girl was moving and crying. but im sure both of her legs are broken? i saw one was bent in a way legs dont bend. im asking for prayers for her and her family. i could use a few too many thanks James aka oldgoat.

now thats funny. but i do have to say my ex wife was walking with me on a sidewalk one day and walked right into the street light pole. got a black eye from it.

i just got a letter fron oberlin INN today they are offering rooms for $55 plus tax for us?? see its cheaper then i thought but at last i still cant make it. unemployed on SSDI social security dissabilty income. that just makes the rent and basic needs. i want to do some kind of work. but the body says i cant. thought about some kind of online work but there are so much scams out there im afraid to even look. anyone know of a legit one let me know...

thanks gary interesting tool i will see if wally world or the local hardware store has one of them. im sure that they still make these type clamps? i would like to replace at least 2 of them ? they seem kind of weak.

ok where do i get some good radiator hoses? i found out i blew the hose from radiator to the engine still not sure how the radiator is. looks clean no holes. i went to a stealer to check on the price they said why you still have one of thoes on the road?? gee what a jerk. said all the hoses would be around $200.00 damn them are expensive hoses. saw some on ebay but still where talking 27 year old hoses. hate to put it back together and keep my fingers crossed that old ones from ebay will hold up. i checked napa auto to see if i could match some up but to many bends in that one for the bike to even come close.. the long one on the bike looks like it was replaced at some time still a tag on it from a dealer in MN? cant read the date though? all the other ones are either real hard or weather checking? and i hate them spring type clamps you squeeze them to get them off and they dont look like they have enough tension to hold the hoses when i go to put them back on?? not in a hurry right now its tore down rags over the engine to protect it. as i have a wedding to attend in MN my daughters. then i will get back to the project at hand. also came accross a free bike a friend has up there. an old yamaha radian?? needs a clutch. it moves but slips. something to do next winter??

hang in there dont give up and heel up. you will be on the road we have faith in ya. when i took my test i forget one important rule check to see if the fuel pet cock is in the on position. i went to do the u turn and the bike stoped half way into it. of course i put my foot down to stop that little honda rebel from kissing the ground. thank god this was a practice run. i did get a high five for a good safety stop???
