I remember bringing you home. You were so small and cuddly with your tiny paws and soft fur. You bounced around the room with eyes flashing and ears flopping. Once in awhile, you'd let out a little yelp just to let me know that this was your territory. Making a mess of the house and chewing on everything in sight became a passion, and when I scolded you, you just put your head down and looked up at me with those innocent eyes, as if to say, "I'm sorry, but I'll do it again as soon as you're not watching." As you got older, you protected me by looking out the window and barking at everyone who walked by. When I had a tough day at work, you would be waiting for me with your tail wagging, just to say, "Welcome home. I missed you." You never had a bad day and I could always count on you to be there for me. When I sat down to read the paper and watch TV, you would hop on my lap, looking for attention. You never asked for anything more than to have me pat your head so you could go to sleep with your head over my leg. As you got older, you moved around more slowly. Then, one day, old age finally took its toll and you couldn't stand on those wobbly legs anymore. I knelt down and patted you lying there, trying to make you young again. You just looked up at me as if to say that you were old and tired and that after all these years of not asking for anything, you had to ask me for one favor. With tears in my eyes, I drove you one last time to the vet. One last time you were lying next to me. For some strange reason, you were able to stand up in the animal hospital; perhaps it was your sense of pride. As the vet prepared us for your crossing over the Rainbow Bridge, you turned your head and looked at me as if to say, "Thank you for taking care of me." I thought, "No.... thank you for taking care of me."

Ok about a week ago my 2004 jeep grand Cherokee was beaten by some one at a grocery parking lot. heavy damage. over $2500 In damages. my insurance will pay all but the $500 deductible. and I will get it fixed. I am having some problems with half brothers and sisters. I never knew these people till I moved back here from MN they have mental issues. I know who might have did it but the grocery store had no camera in that parking lot. I was attacked by one of them half brothers. I reported it and heard nothing? what I want to do after the jeep is fixed is find some kind of camera I can place in the jeep. that will run a loop. incase these nuts come again. any one know what I can use to do this? thanks

kevin yes stella is put away in a nice storage unit. full tank of gas with stable in it. battery pulled and stored here at home and placed on the tender that you so kindly gave with her. she is a great bike. never a problem with her. I put close to 2000 miles on her. always with a smile on my face. did a poker run for cancer in September with her. she got lots of likes even from Harley riders. she even took first place in the Honda class 450 cc to 750 cc. that got me a $25 shell gas gift card. this year I will clean her before I enter her again LOL and now I want to say thank you all for the warm welcome back

well I made my choice to come back. I can not leave this nut house. I took some time to think it over. I went over to the Honda shadow forum for a while. did not care for it all that much. I left here for reasons I wont mention. thought long and hard and made my choice that here is where I belong. most of the time I will just be on the side lines and watch the postings.

dingy looking at your breathers on the carbs . could you not make some kind of elbow so they go out to the sides instead of straight up? might make for more room for the tank?

congrats that is a big step from a daughter in-law to a grand baby. enjoy them. the grand babies grow up fast just like the children.

4 stroke. think the nephew messed with the carb? plus he said something about running a hotter spark plug? he was down shifting when it made a pop sound then no compression. I did a complete tear down on the engine. new gaskets and all. real pain splitting the case on this old thing. but got it done. should have seen the oil. think it was never changed since I did it back in 1985. this bike has been around the family since new. passed around and around. don't know how fast the little sucker can go? but the engine is all rebuilt. changed out them damn screws what a PIA . pb blaster and a lot of####@@@@$$ and them came out. impact drivers sure are nice. I have a step grand daughter I might teacher her to ride it.
-
thanks mike I am going to do a carb rebuild on it as well. think I might just restore this old thing? paint the frame clean it up and repaint the whole bike again. found the stickers and stuff on ebay, man claims there original old stock? as big as I am not sure if I want to ride it. but might make a good woods bike when I go camping in MN?
-
well I went and pulled the engine on this as it was blown. it was my nephews bike. told him I would pull it apart and rebuild it. I have done these bikes before. have it all ready to put back together. had it bored. new piston and rings. but before I put this back together. what caused that bike to put a hole dead center of that piston? don't want to put it back in the bike fire it up and have it go boom again.
