  2. An old Honda Helix 250, but i dont count that, the first REAL bike was a 77 KZ 650, which we still have
  3. It never did reach 40 yesterday, it was a cold cold ride, but i still got 100 miles on!!!
  4. Well, i haven't ridden in awhile, so as you can all probably guess, its killing me. I have been outside scraping the last of the ice off of my street, and got the bike put back together. I have to work at 12: 30 so I'm planning to leave at 10 30. It should be fun!
  5. as irony would have it, i probably had the iciest street in town when i first started!
  6. After school me and a friend tried moving all of the ice off of my street so i can get the bike out. Well after having dad's other cop over to help, he decided to park in the middle of the street and drip fresh ice right on it! Haha, oh i love life I also have to get up at 4 this morning :97:to sand, bath at 6, school at 7, work at 5, more sanding at 10. It should be a good day tomorrow!
  7. Dont do DW40. That stuff attracts dust and can get really gummy. Take some electric circuit cleaner, it doesn't attract dust. Maybe loosen the screw underneath before doing anything, sometimes a little more loose is all you need.
  8. To go on my 85 VR. Hopefully cheap and working! Thank you! CJ
  9. It's all good, now you've reached a time in your life where you slow down, and take it easy. Just relax man!
  10. By the time i get home from school 4PM Central, my australian friend's just waking up, so right now its like, or 5 or something
  11. Well im using the "clutch" as an engage, if you let it out slowly it will slowly put the bike into full "gear" and get it moving. Of course this is in the perfect world of mine!
  12. Well, as it seems to happen, 16 year old's get bored in the winter, and we need things to do. My project this weekend is mounting an old snowblower motor on a bicicle. The snowblower has a seperate disingage, so where the front brakes would normally be, I'm going to mount the engage to it. It will only go with the "clutch" pulled in. It has a pretty high idle, which is no big deal, and the throttle will really open it up. If i have to, i can do some cutting and welding and get the belt drive into more of a chain sproket. It will be cool to see how fast it will go with the 15 gears, so we'll see.
  13. Alright, so my only question is, do the 2nd gen ventures handle as well as the first gens. It looks to me like they angled the motor to make it less top heavy, so i was just wondering. Thanks- CJ
  14. I'd go for it. I could have bough a 2000 RSV for 2, 750
  15. Get Limewire. Even Songs that are just on DVD's Limewire should have. Its easy, you just download it, and put it on your ipod
  16. only have about 35, 500 on mine. had 29 when i got it last april, and its been sitting since november. haven't ridden once since then cant stand it!!!
  17. Mom and dad did, they said it was no big deal really it was pretty, but it wasn't THAT challenging:thumbdown:
  18. shoulda been the vikings!!! rooh rooh rooh rooh rooh shoulda been the vikings!!! rooh rooh rooh rooh rooh shoulda been the vikings!!!
  19. I would rather not even have the CD player. For between 5 or 10 bucks you can buy a cassette tape that hooks right up to your mp3 player, which is far more handy and safe than a bag of CD's. Even if it has a changer you can still get several thousand songs on an mp3 player. maybe 500 in a whole CD bag
  20. Hotmail is my Ol' Reliable, but i think Yahoo is actually better:2cents:
  21. Doesn't get good mileage? who told you that? mom and dad's average is about 43 and when they pull a trailer its 36, so maybe thats where you heard the 30
  22. My dad rides one I've ridden one BELIEVE, that bike has alot of power, and its easy to handle!
  23. That's no good, i just quit one of my jobs, and then my other job hired someone else so now i'm out of work but im making enough to pay off the bike so everyone's happy:cool18:
  24. thats exactly what i do in school:bagpipes-emoticon:
