Well we're gonna go look at it today. I don't care how nice it is I'm gonna do my best to look disapointed the entire time. I'll definItely try to get some info on the PO and see if it had been ridden at all lately. The nice thing is the dealer could of thought they were getting a good running bike but most people dont know how to tell if these are running right or not. You guys give me a pretty good advantage being on this site As far as less than a thousand miles a year I know its scary. I found an 85 with 23k on it but in the picture it was parked over a spot of oil so I have those guys looking into it today. Even if the gaskets look old do you think I can get a summers worth riding and change them when I do the valve adjustment next winter?

Most of these dealers know nothing about these bikes. Any easy way to tell if its the original motor?

Dont tell Puc but I'm aiming to beat him this year. Its definitely not gonna happen but it is a fair goal right? I definitely want one with low enough miles that I can still make my own!

Looking at this 86. Its pretty close to home and only has 21 000 miles. I think they're asking a real fair price for it too. I was looking at the one Puc sent to me but damn Washington is too far. Heres the link Edwards Motorsports & RVs

Thanks eck. Recovering from surgery now. That was the worst damned part! All my road rash is gone and I'm feeling pretty well. I really do appreciate all you guys on this site its made recovery so much better.

Looking at the miles on Tweeks I don't think he needs any more elbow grease

The operation on my arm seems to be going well will know for sure on Tuesday. They moved tendons and arteries abd screwed a bone together and drained my elbow. We'll see how it goes
