My dad has been in law enforcement for most of his adult life and he's always had the opinion that if you act like a person, to the people you're serving, you will almost always come out better than being the hard-ass. That being said, he began his police career before our world had gotten so crazy! I cant help but think that I'm going to find myself in law-enforcement like him, and I hope I can be half the officer he is! And I agree, if i was in the couple's shoes I dont think that I'd sue for a monetary value, I would just ask the police department that they work for, on national TV that they re-evaluate some of their employees, because Like you said its the taxpayer like you and me that ends up paying the bill, not any actual carthieves!

Theres a JoDeans in Yankton SD that serves all you can eat crab and shrimp and other kinds of seafood for a really fair price! Being that its in south dakota, I dont know how good the seafood is, but its only about 20 bucks for all you can eat. Not only do they have Crab and Shrimp they usually have something odd like shark, and they also include fresh steaks and fresh roast, rocky mountain oysters and many other delicious food. Just make sure you go on a Friday or Saturday!

This was really sad! I saw it first on Yahoo news on facebook and yahoo themselfs were already making joke. They commented on their own post saying "He's Dead Jim"... Maybe I need to get a sense of humor, but i felt like it was a little uncalled for...

Ahhh god that makes me sick. During a time where morality from the people for the police department is down, stuff like this is only going to raise people's disgust for our boys in blue. And with police officers like this, I understand why support for our Nation's police officers is down...

Just wanted to add to everyones kind words here Freebird (I will only use people's names after I've met them) that these things are EXACTLY why I have NO PROBLEM paying my 12 dollars a year to be a member of my family on this site!. I'm probably one of the worst when it comes to posting things in the wrong spots here and the stuff you and the other moderators go through to keep this site running on all four (or two for you Snarley guys) cylinders amazes me. I've never had the pleasure of riding an actual CB anything. The closest thing I can compare it to was my 77 kz650 and I always thought that bike with its banana seat was a pretty cozy ride

I sat on one of those the other day. Its a throwback, but they definitely dont want you do any touring on it as it is NOT a comfy bike!
