  1. Why not offer them 17 for it? Keep in mind they only dezign these newer cars to last 7 years though
  2. Beautiful bike my friend! Is that a factory paint job?
  3. Hoping for her quick recovery!
  4. So that leaves me wondering what the little white convertible's got under the hood. Either way its gotta be better than my 94. It had the 3.8 V-6. A gutless little thing but it got great mileage!
  5. I had no idea you did anything until I read the post. Good on ya 'mate!
  6. I tried finding your post where you got it to see some pics, but with 1000+ posts to go through theres just not much I can do to find it lol
  7. I know 96 and up they went to the 4.6. I was thinking cobra, but he said GT on it. Perhaps its bored over?
  8. Maybe he just meant by visiting the site more, he'd just be with us in spirit?
  9. So @Freebird do I bill you for my computer repair?
  10. Its either a 5.0 or a 5.8 if its stock right?
  11. My personal favorite years of the mustang, the 94 and 95. before they went to the bulbus tail lights
  12. I actually remember when I was still a 16 year old living with dad and we decided to turn the idle up, well basically he turned the carb synch screw up on the right side to raise the idle and I remember it being a much louder ride at idle, and also I remember it chugging really hard if I lugged it. Like I said that's been almost 7 years ago now, so my memory might be a little fudged but I certainly do remember him turning the carb synch screw to adjust the idle...
  13. Those V-Rods are a heck of a neat bike. Too bad japan still can beat them even 25 years earlier!
  14. So did it whup that V-rod?
  15. Boy, I must be behind on the times. When did you get an RSV VideoAZ?
  16. I've also heard that having the carbs out of sync can make the engine quite a bit noisier. Maybe something to look into?
  17. Love it! I want a full review!!!
  18. I saw this on youtube while I was stalking your videos. That looks like so much fun, Puc. Are you gonna follow your dream and stick some bags on her and take her cross country?
  19. Spoken like a true biker
  20. Now what I'm wondering Jasmie is if that plasti-fix stuff is just sort of an epoxy used to bind them together, or does it break down the plastic on the fairing and bond the 2 together. I've been using bondic as my main source of plastic repair, but really all that does it use surface area friction to hold the pieces together. I usually drill several holes along the crack and fill it them in with bondic around it, essentially stitching it together. And I think I could really get along well with one of those M61A1MECH, I tell ya what. How about you boys from the site help me go in on the investment for one of those, and after I take the proper classes to learn how to run it , I'll fab anything you guys want for just the cost of shipping Do you think you'd need ear-plugs to run that thing? It makes the weirdest noise on the video! And I think I've heard you suggest using the solvent based adhesive before. Where do you pick up stuff like that? I also like your idea of using fiberglass matting and actually making it part of the plastic, it seems that would be really useful on the fairing where the two pouches hang off of. Is the price of the solvent pretty fair?
  21. Boy look at all the bling on that! Glad to have you back on the site. Ive had the:photographing: on my rump a few times since ive been back, just give the cowpuc guy a new sticker for Tweaks And he'll be smilin from ear to ear again!
  22. Boomer, it looks like we've got a real similar new years resolution!
  23. Depends on where. If I cant make it then it IS too early for a maintenance day
  24. So I've been getting concerned with plastic welding on the old venture, because it has a many a crack in the plastic. I've been using the bondic, but I think I'd actually get a better bond with plastic welding. I've been looking up heat welding and friction welding and saw this video and thought it would've been worth a look. Its a little long winded, but its pretty cool! Check it out! http://lifehacker.com/5972326/friction-weld-plastic-with-a-rotary-tool-and-plastic-rods
  25. That's definitely a step in the right direction. There is also a guy in Norfolk that knows of a place thatll re finish them to get rid of the nicks/burrs. I'll give them a call on Monday
