been there done that, I was unloading my 2006 venture when it happen to me. There is a spot where your feet will not reach try this take two boards place them on the ramp and the ground so when you get to that spot your feet are on the boards till you can reach the ground again and as you found out when loading once you commit don't stop until your loaded. We loaded two ventures in a sixteen foot enclosed trailer that was fun but it worked. Good Luck
I had a night mare last night, I dreamed we had a blizzard in the deep south and I woke up at work......................oh wait a minute I did wake up at work

it has gotten to the point when my wife does this I'll just stop talking and ten minutes later she will look at me and say, I did it again didn't I and I will just nod my head, after all she has already finish my conversation.
yes sir there is but before you let Steve stop and help check your surroundings real good. I was on my way home from a night shift and a guy had a flat tire on his truck and was barely off the road so I slowed down got a good look at him and the truck, turned around and went back to help I was amazed at how many cars would not move over even with no other vehicle in site. I guess at 5am and on a dark road he was lucky anybody would stop.
Here to Ya.
YG. this probably will not be any help but here it goes, I live south of Talladega,Al. and my Dad lives in Cantonment, Fl. If there was a way to get it this far I could bring it to you the next time I go to my Dad's. Storage and the delivery would be free.
When I was riding my 06 Venture I scraped the floor boards a few times but never on purpose and I never but once scrapped them for more than a couple of seconds and the one time I held it to the pavement I was following Mark and he knew the roads but I didn't and the dump truck on the other side of the curve was riding the yellow line if I had raised up or slipped any it would have been a bad day. No doubt the Venture is a great bike.
That's not fair ya'll covered all my camping rants before I found this thread and my mother in-law has one of those _ _ _ _ dogs, I tell her to leave it at home.
