Here I go... New to me Trike & now I need to Check it over, setup & add-ons: 1) Get out the Mecury Carb-Sync - checked OK - no need to adjust 2) removed stock ignition & replaced with DynaTek 3000 - set on performance profile 3 with red line of 7,500 rpm 3) removed stock clutch pressure plate - installed/converted to Barnett Clutch Spring Conversion plate (good old purple) 4) checked out HID headlight kit - decided against it 5) ordered Signal Dynamics Diamond Star headlight modulator 6) ordered Diamond Star Plug & Play harness 7) ordered Hella H4 100/80 Halon watt bulb for headlight 8) ordered qty.4 NGK DPR8EIX-9 Iridium IX Spark Plugs 9) one passing lamp failed so I checked out converting to lens & H3 Halogen bulbs - decided against it & needed rewiring 10) ordered qty.2 Passing Lamp Bulbs - Bulbrite HX36PAR36WFL 36-Watt Halogen/Xenon Sealed Beam PAR36 10) ordered 5-layer felt lined Trike cover - using/covering Trike with my old cover used on my Z4 11) ordered custom license plate GhostR Now I'm preparing to move add-ons from old bike to new bike when these parts get in & I have a nice weather day. I'll continue this as I progress. JohnB

I've searched for a Hannigan-Venture Trike cover. First thing I discovered that most trike covers will not fit the Hannigan-Venture. Others are not felt lined through out. I found one though - from the same company that I bought a car cover for my Z4 a few years ago. Once I get the feel of the new bike, the throttle will be twisted - cruise set - 10 gallons of gas will be used before I first stop. It will be a normal Iron Butt ride to beat the dark & dropping night temps. The weather is suppose to be the best in a week. JohnB

Today is an adventure day. Two years ago on last month, I flew to Ohio to buy & drive home with my current motorcycle. Today I'm taking a bus to Louisville, KY. At 7AM tomorrow, the seller is picking me up. I should be buying it & on the road by 10AM for a 10 hour ride back home. Late Saturday or Sunday I'll be home with the new MC Trike (depending on temp & weather). Two years ago when I flew in to Ohio, A VentureRider.org member met me there. He had just conversed with me when I newly became a member & talked about buying a RSV from Adventure HD. He & his wife picked me up at the airport, took me to the HD dealer, invited me to their house for pizza & beer, helped me change the rear tire & then escorted me 20 miles to get me started. I will never forget that HummingBird. Thanks! BTW - This seller is a previous VentureRider.org member. JohnB

Hi; Too bad you are so far away. I've got my 2008 Royal Star Venture with stock mufflers, a little higher than stock (stock arms available), Cherry/Black, 45K, new rear tire, shock replaced in June, Speed-Healer - in process to sell for $7200 I just bought a 2002 Trike. JohnB -

Shock replaced 1 time under warranty 4 years 40,000 miles -------------------------------------------------------------- Detailed info: - bike had 20,00 miles on it when I bought it - I always had 40lbs. air added with shock pump - shock was the cause of car tire wobble - new shock fixed car tire wobble Problem noted was intermittent squeak & oil stain on shock. Car tire wobble was determined after replacement. JohnB -

Joe; You need to check out the Carbon_One Aux Gas Tank if you have a Hannigan. Search in the Classified. There is also a good forum discussion on triketalk.com with pictures of parts & install (actually my new bike's). That's what I use also. My HTC has been ROCK SOLID. I have a HTC 4G Rezound with the World Phone latest update & extended battery. (Unlocked & Rooted) A couple years back, I had a HTC Windows phone. It was terrible. JohnB
