    When I sold my Harley and Got my RSTD (which I love-a much better machine than the Harley) I got to say, that the sixth gear on the Harley was a true overdrive. With my RSTD I find myself in fifth doing around 45 or so. I wish I had a tack so I can see the RPM's. So why not a real over drive. Does any of the Japanesse bike have it? Markr:240:

    I've been trying to place the weather sticker on my email. I go to the wondermap, click on the sticker I want to use. It gives the the URL, I copy it and place in the my signature and upload and I get "invalid URL".... what could I be doing wrong!

    I just put on the Road King pipes that had been modified, and the back fire is really pronumced. I did notice it with the stock muffler, but now it is really load. Perhaps it's time for a card job...or take off the polut:bang head:ion control crap..

    A similar incident happened here in West Palm Beach, where a motor cop was responding to a call not lights or siren when someone pulled out infront of him. Unfortunately, the.. motor cop died in this tragedy. A lady driving the car could not see far down the road because a large van was blocken her sight. Anyway, the lady is in for vhicular homicide. s

    The one, and only thing I miss on my 08 Harley FXDL is the sixth gear over drive.

    I went on a 165 mile ride Sunday from West Palm Beach Florida, to South Beach. The Clearview shield worked great! It is 3" shorter and wider. I bought the front vent which come in handy in the muggy south Florida weather. I purchased the pipes off ebay. They came with the mounting brackets and the 2"chrome clamps. In fact someone on this site found them for me on Ebay. The only issue is the pipes are a bit loud, and boy do they pop like crazy on decel. I probabaly need my carbs tuned or something. Mark:smile5:

    Just installed some Harley Road King exhaust and Clearview shield. I know, I will submit pictures soon. Got the exhaust off of Ebay for $50.00 and they also had the 2 inch chrome exhaust clamp which looks great. The Clearview shield is excellent! I like the forward vent it has and the light tent. It is shorter and wider than stock and the lowers are also bigger. The bike sounds really good and the sheild is wonderful. Pictures to come soon. Mark:12101:
