  5. I seen the Flander bars and the kit they sale to replace cables on a 07 RSTD. I really want to do this for a more comfortable riding position. My question is how difficult 1-10 is this to do one self. I guess my biggest challenge is the cable replacement especially the brake and throttle. Is this a straight forward job? Should I take it the stealer? Any recommendations would be welcomed. Thanks
  6. Going on a ride today and tomorrow...weather is good here!
  7. Just google Mil Spec Cell phones. These phones are tested to meet military standards and are the toughest phone you can buy. Mark:97:
  8. Road king pipes with modifications (Drilled). I Love the sound.
  9. I got the Ultimate back rest along with the Ultimate seats. The back rest is adjustables forward and backward. You can even adjust will riding.
  10. Here is the one I got at Deals Gap.
  11. Since I'm a Safety guy in my job, I will caution you on doing this mode. Use none sparking tools, it would be better with tank filled. If you empty the tank, I would suggest dropping some dry Ice in the tank, the ice will fill the tank with Co2 and expail any flammable vapors. Just my 2 cents:fireman:
  12. Anybody know what Rick charges?
  13. Ricks, Here are some pictures of my passenger seat off my RTTD. My wife says it makes her legs get numb after about 40 minutes. Is there anything you can do? Mark
  14. I was at Deals Gap during a Honda Hoot a couple of years ago. And I got the "Tail of the Dragon" or a dragon tattoo on my lower leg. Too many beers, and a "go for it" wife.
  15. I think I'll go on anice ride today then to the Gun Show. Don't understand why all the complaining? http://www.centralmediaserver.com/wptv/weather/wptv_7day.jpg

  17. Would anyone know if a Venture rear passenger seat would fit my 07 RSTD? My wife says the seat I have is uncomfortable after about 40 minutes. I have the Ultimate seats...looking for a more comfortable rear seat. Any suggestions? Thanks Mark
  18. I got a set for Christmas (Holagen) and had them on my bike that day. The install was not that difficult for my RSTD. I'm not shure how difficult it would be for a Venture. I love them.
  19. Wow! That is a great looking ride! Let us know how you like it.
  20. I want to get a set of Karyaken highway pegs and they come in 1"" and 1 1/4". I measured my front crash bar and it measures between 1 and 1 1/4". The question is, should I order 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch? This is for my 07 RSTD. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.
  21. Freezing hear too!
  22. You won't be disapointed!
  23. Just get you a set oh the HD road glide pipes. I have them and did a little modification. The sound great and look great for only $50
  24. Just go for it! The Harley will never loose it's value, its a good machine. I recently sold my 08 Harley Low Rider my my 07 RSTD, and I just love my RSTD and never looked back. But the Dyna was not meant to used for long halls and comfort. It was a good bar-hoping bike. Go with your gut feeling and be happy.
