    Just got done mounting a tour pack. The pack is a cheap one, I think it cost around $135.00 but it had some cool LED lights installed. It seems to work okay for now. But I want to purchase a Harley tour pack if I can find one without breaking the bank.

    OMG! How horrible that is for the family and friends, not to mention the rider. Note to file, when leaving highway, stay on shoulder and stop. Give yourself plenty of room to get back on.

    I too just mounted a rack and trunk on my 07 RSTD. I'm not too happy with the trunk. It's small and plastic. Looking to install a Harley trunk when I can find one.

    I need to rais the passeger foot rest on my 2007 Royal Star Tour Deluxe about 3-4". Does any know if they make some kind of extension to the mount where this can be done or any other suggestions will be apreciated. Thanks all

    Hey, I'm looking for the same fairing in black! Same problem here. I tool went to the dealer to see if it :rotfl:is a warrenty issue and they just laughed.

    I have the ultamate seat and love it. I used to ride with the Corbin Dual tour on my Harley Low Rider but it was taller and I could not be flat footed. I'm 5'7" with 30" inseam. The Ultamate is great no butt fatigue at all...but wiih it was an inch shorter or perhaps lowering the bike an inch.

    I order ans received the trunk you mentioned and it is small and made of plastic. I'm not happy with it. I think the Harley Tour Pack is the way to go.

    I'm trying to install a trunk on my 07 RSTD and was hoping someone had some mounting hardware laying about. If not, any ideas on how I can mount it? I BOUGHT THE TRUNK OF EBAY AND IT'S A UNIVERSAL MOUNT TRUNK. THANKS

    It's not all that. Take it from me who lately got back in the saddle. I purchased a new 06 Suzuki Boulard M50 and had that for a year and started feeling what you are feeling. After some smooth talking I got my wife to agree to buy a new 2008 HD Dyna Low Rider. After dumping tons of money for accessories, stage one upgrades and new Vance & Hines Big Radious Two into one pipes, I soon found out that the Harley groups are just like everone else. They are just friends with a common interest. I made no new friends nor did I feel special riding a Harley. Frankly, I soon regreted it. The bike gave me mitten but trouble and for any distance riding it sucked. Then when I desided to sell it after six months and 7k miles the bank told me it only worth $8,900! Harley would give me no deals nor could I sell it for anything close to the $17k I paid for it. I traded it at a Harley dealer for my 2007 RSTD which I think is a much better bike to ride and I have more riding buddies now. My two cents.

    Hey all, thought I would also join the RSTD fun. I traded my 2008 HD Low Rider for a 2007 RSTD with only 6K on the meter. Hated the Harley...it was okay for around town but sucked for any distance riding. I have the stock red over black paint scheme. I've added: HD drilled out mufflers Ultamate seats Yahmaha passing lights Led rear running lights Sebal horn Yahmaha chrome grips Clearview wind shield Just oredered the J&M Dual mode cb radio and K&N filters More mods to come after reading this thread. I like the HD trunk thingy. Mark

    I've been looking at purchasing the J&M CB Radio. Does anyone have experience with this product? The only thing I'm concerned about is the dual mode one for two riders with all the necessary wiring, head sets, antinnia can cost up to $700! Any thoughts suggestions? Thanks Mark
