Well since I'm so young, next rounds on me! (Disclaimer: This offer stands for any and all that stay on me about working out. Motivation from friends helps and keeps the drive strong) Ben

Tell me about it. I am an internet shopper and couldn't get one on amazon for less than $200, they retail $100. I finally found one at Target and jumped in the car to get it. Worth the efort so far. I think the stock is down from Christmas. Riderduke, Come on, I'm not THAT young am I? Ben

Come on now, I'm not that young! There is a 16 year old patroling these boards, now that makes me feel OLD! I haven't watched the weight since I got out of the CG; well I watched it go up up up. I guess it's time to do something about it. Just hope I stick to this. 6 lbs in one week is very motivating! Ben

I bought the Wii Fit Plus last weekend and started it Monday. Been religious with it all week and it's paid off......6 lbs in 6 days. I have also walked on the treadmill while doing the game. The Fit really does make working out interesting. Now if I can just get to 225 by August for my 10 year high school reunion I will be alright. I'll keep ya'll updated Oh, I started at 287 (not ashamed, but not proud either) Ben

I'll pass, $600 is still way too much. BTW, Amazon has the Zumo 665 for $650. I bought my 450 from Amazon, it broke 2 months later and I had a replacement the next day. I don't think there is a better online vendor than Amazon. Ben

Thinking about buying a Venture...
Gamecock replied to sho_greg's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I bought my 04 Venture from a man in Camden who hadn't ridden it in 18 months. I got a great deal on it, and if I pressed I could have gone even lower. But I was happy and he was happy. Love the bike, I'm 6'2'' and 275 and it hauls me and the woman just fine. Even got a trailer now and don't expect that to be a problem either. There are plenty of RSV's out there, good luck on finding "the one" Ben -
Title says it all. I got a ride planned March 27-30 if anyone is interested. I'm gonna leave Northern Virginia on Saturday morning (27th) and head down to either Boone or Hickory, NC. I am supposed to meet my dad and a buddy there for 2 days of riding in the mountains i.e. Blue Ridge Parkway and possibly The Dragon. Camping is an option if the weather is condusive for it. I'll head back toward the DC area on Tuesday the 30th. If you'd like to ride with us, you're more than welcome! Look forward to possibly meeting anyone between here and there. More details to follow closer to the date. Ben

you said mooning! Ya'll might get tired of see my a**. I ain't shy! I plan to go North and South this year. Already got approval for the M&E in Gettysburg and Maintenance Day. You gonna be there? I'll take the sidekick title right now, but we'll get a revote in a year or so. Happy Mooning! Ben

I think me and Beer would make a great team. All I need is a kick start and I am ready to roll. I didn't want to be over zelous on the trip trip out. Ben

I don't know if I was the only one to notice, but I thought I saw a Halo on top of Beer30's head. I'm sure somewhere under that leather was a pair of wings! Great people, great time, and great food. What more could we ask for? Ben

I'm not a movie watcher either and DID NOT want to go see this as I let everyone know at the M&E on Saturday, but I get my time the wife get's hers. I think I liked it more than she did. Movies are movies, just entertainment. You like some, you hate some. I wouldn't pay 10 cent to watch Star Wars or meet the cast. But that's my opinion. Great movies and well worth my $27 for ticket's and $24 for snacks! Ben

I didn't kick and scream, but Sci-Fi is not my cup of tea. That was an outstanding movie with a great plot. My first 3D IMAX also, and can't wait for the next one. To show how interesting it was, there was a 10 year old boy sitting beside me that didn't say a word for 2:45 nor get up to use the bathroom. He was sooooooo into it! I was impressed. Ben

Ya'll were just wishing those chaps were ass-less! Had a great time, looking forward to the next time and maybe putting some miles on the bike! Bigfoot, Thanks again for the chaps! Ben

I was reading on the website that they will custom make a box the size you want it. The closest production size they have will be about 2 inches off. I gotta get the funds together, but I think this is what I am gonna do. $800 for a trailer already built isn't bad. I kinda wish I have bought the HF trailer I have now, the one with the cargo box on it. O'well! Ben

So after much thought and surfing, this is what I am thinking about doing......... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=42708 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/photos/42700-42799/42708.gif and bolting this to the top of it..... http://www.diamonddeluxe.com/b_style_dog_box.html http://www.diamonddeluxe.com/images/b_style.jpg I need a new hunting box for when I move back to SC and when I deer hunt, I'll just take the box off the trailer. I plan on having the side window's and fan installed on the box. Thoughts? Suggestions? Ben

I've spent a fair amount of time putting Christmas presents on the bike and I spend more than half my time looking for metric tools. It seems, everything I have now is American Standard. I am looking for an affordable ($100 or less) metric tool set that I can use and keep in the motorcycle. Has anyone found a good deal on one or reccommend something that fits the use of the RSV? Ben

Something I found out when I bought the Honda. Carfax will give you a 1 year buy back warranty on a salvaged/water damaged title that hasn't been processed at the time of purchase. This is free with a 30 days subscription, all you have to do is print it out with the VIN and date of purchase. Ben

04 Chevy Trailblazer with the I-6 (power of a V-8, MPG's of a 6, pulls like a horse, and doesn't struggle with our 18' 2 ton ski boat. 16 around town, 21 highway. we hardley ever drive it b/c we put the miles on the below) 95 Honda Accord with the I-4 (172K and still rolling strong. can't beat a honda engine, expecially a VTEC. 27 MPG around town, 35 on the highway) When my Honda dies, I will get another one for daily commutes and just around time driving. When I move back to SC, gonna get a 2500 Chevrolet with the Duramax for "country living" Ben
