Yeah, I am probably being over zealous, 180 miles will probably be the limit. That would put me 50 miles short of home but real close to a good ice cream stand in Aynor, SC! :fnd_(16): Ben

When the gas light comes on and you switch over to the reserve, it starts counting up. I am assuming this is the mileage since the reserve has been tapped into, which is .91 gallons correct? I have never really bothered looking at the mileage, but I am interested if I can get from Dumfries, VA (31 miles south of Wash DC) to Myrtle Beach, SC next week on 2 tanks, it's 410 miles. Also gonna try to make it on 2 stops. Each at the 190-200 mile mark. IRON AZZ style! I'll let you know! Ben

Rode the bike into work tonight for the first time with the Avon Tires and the lowering kit removed.......all I gotta say is WOW! The bike rode good before, but the tires are unbelieveable! Well worth the money. I cruised I-95 at about 75 and felt like I was on air. Can't wait until I get off in the morning so I can ride home. When I bought my bike it was lowered 2.5 inches. I'm a tall guy so I had it put back to stock height this week. I actually think I may want the leveling links put on in the future. I like the bike being higher a lot better.... The Yamaha dealership quoted me $750 to raise the bike. I had it done by a local guy for $50. Yeah, look at the difference. He said it was a very simple process to lower/raise the bike. Anyhow, I have the links and plate to relocate the brakes if anyone is interested. Like I said before, it will lower the rear end about 2.5 inches. I have no idea what it's worth. Is anyone interested? Let me know.... Ben

I had planned to attend both the Eastern NC and Gettysburg M&E's, and now BOTH have been canceled. Are ya'll trying to tell me something? Since I already got the days off work, now I gotta find something to do. Hum........the Shenandoah Valley is only an hour away! Freebird, if you cancel Maintenance Day, I'm buying a Goldwing! As for the September Chincoteague 2 Day M&E&R(ide), I'm still planning on doing it. If for some reason I have to work, I'll get Mini to make Riderduke take it over. Ben
