Don't hurt my heart with that Y word. Carolinian by birth, Southern by the Grace of God! I've been in VA for almost 5 years, I miss the ole Palmetto State. Wait wait, VA is the South, MD is not! Ben

Welcome to the Metro DC area. It's flippin cold out there right now. I'm sure Riderduke and Bigfoot will chime in too, you'll be about 80 miles from us here on the south side of DC. If you need anything, let me know. Ben

I have the 450 and just ran the wire under the gas tank and hard wired it to the battery. I use my GPS in the car too, so I never leave the bracket attached to the bike, just the wire. Never had a problem with it. Ben

So I am in God's country, South Carolina, for Thanksgiving and my brother in law wanted to put some miles on his new bike. I didn't think I'd be riding so I didn't bring my RSV from VA. The father in law told me to take his 2003 Harley Ultra Classic and after 300 miles on it I got three words to describe it: Was Not Impressed!!! My RSV rides a whole lot better than his HD. Both him and my dad (2001 HD Electra Glide Classic) say I'm nuts. All I had to say to them was they haven't ridden my bike and I would prove my point when we all get together on a trip. I love my RSV and that ride just confirmed it! Ben

My grandmother's homemade dressing and gibblet gravey! Good GOD I'm droling just thinking about it!!!! Ben

I just bought my HR tailer for this exact reason. I love to camp and can't wait to get into the Shenandoah Valley and put up the tent. Thinking about all this just makes me want to go more. Now, I'm gonna throw in a little plug for my Aun't very family oriented campground in NC. GREEN ACRES, in Bear Grass, NC is a great family owned campground if anyone is ever in the area. Bear Grass is near Williamston and not too far from Greenville. Let me know if you're ever in that area, I'll give them a call for you. http://www.greenacresnc.com/Home_Page.php Tell Bob and Janice, Ben sent you! Ben

These are the sizes coming straight from the tire: 150 90/15 80 H for the rear (owner's manuel says 74H, is the 80H okay?) 150 80/16 71 H for the front (this is spot on compared to the owner's manuel) The front tire just looks so much bigger/wider than the rear. Any suggestions? Should I call SW Moto Tire about it? The tires are brand new, not even on the bike, I was waiting until the Spring for that. Ben

okay, i got my set of Avon's and have finally "looked" at them. i noticed something weird, the front tire is wider than the back. that seems really strange to me. is that correct? Ben

i changed mine today. thanks to the tips and directions i found on here, it took 1 hr 20 mins from begining to end. not too bad for a mechanically uninclined guy. okay, so i had a little bit of help from a buddy! thanks again for the advice! Ben -
My wife has never really wanted to ride.....well until I got the RSV. She's been on one long trip with me, and got pissed last weekend when I didn't ask her to ride with me. When we went on the trip we went to the North Wilksboro, NC Apple Festival. My father in law was with us and SHE loaded down his trailer with stuff she bought. She told me SHE needed one of those before we went on another trip so she could bring her things back with her. She's a trip, but I am glad she finally likes to ride with me. I am gonna use the trailer mostly for camping in the Shenandoah Valley. I can't wait til Spring! Ben

This one will take the 12 in tires also, but I figure I'll wear the 8" out first. My dad has the small Piggy and hasn't had any problems with the 8". Now I just got to plan a trip to use it! Ben

I got mine today. Found one in the store and got it for $320.00. I didn't think that deal could be beat, so I went with it. It's the same as the Piggy Backer, minus the cooler rack. Anyone know where I can get one of those? HF also has a 20% off coupon that I used. I saved $80 with that too and no shipping and handleing. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=66771 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/photos/66700-66799/66771.gif http://www.harborfreight.com/hftusa/magpromos/popsci.pdf (They didn't question that I printed it online, so there shouldn't be a problem) Ben

if it's serious, Ambien the best thing. you have to see a dr. though. i had a concussion and couldn't sleep. that cured it the first night. 8 hours of solid sleep with every 5 mg tablet! Ben

The motorcycle specific coolant is a new product. I haven't seen it in stores but I'm sure I could find it if I looked real hard. I got two bottles of the 50/50 Yellow Bottle, so I am gonna go with that. Got a buddy doing it for me on Sunday for a steak and a cold one! Ben -

Thanks Freebird, my Honda shop is useless and I wouldn't spend a dime at the nearest Yamaha one (bad I know)! I figured either would work as neither has silicate in it. Thanks Ben -

Dang Duke, I thought you had answered my question. Have you used either product I listed? Ben -
My drill instructor in basic had a great saying, "YOU CAN'T TEACH STUPID". I've used that a lot in the past 7 years! Ben
