If you could have one new accessory added what would it be?
midnite replied to Yama Mama's topic in Watering Hole
Diamond R driver's backrest and passenger arm rests, and a tag-a-long trailer, and warmer weather so we could ride -
We are planning on being in Oberlin for Maint. day this year. After we are taking the week off to ride on over to Va. and ride Shenandoah Valley down Blueridge Parkway, to Smokies, maybe down into Alabama. Any suggestions on where to stop, eat, places to see ????:confused24:Look forward to seeing and riding with some of the members from those areas.

Don't use one but would also like to see if anyone is using a product like this, I have a battery tender jr. hooked up to keep the battery charged up but it doesn't tell the condition of the battery.

We looked at one at our local dealership, they had both so was easier to compare.Fi was nice, more updated, but looked too much like a Harley, and had to but and install the wiring harness for the intercoms. That was not a cheap harness, also less storage space in saddle bags and trunk. Read many articles on both bikes, the Sept issue of Rider mag. did a head to head against Victory Vision, Harley Ultra, Kawasaki Voyager, and RSV. The Kaw finished dead last. "This brand-new model had years to take aim at Yamaha Venture and Harley, and should have done better. Though all bikes wieghed within 10 # of each other the Voyager felt significatly heavier, it suffered from engine and driveline noise and lack of cornering clearance, though it was the least expensive." That and other articles and our own comparison lead us to choose the RSV. As stated just our opinion on this, but do as you want, research, research, research.Nothing like being an informed buyer. MP3 players aren't that expensive, :mo money:4GB=2000 songs, take alot of riding to listen to that much music.

Crashed a GT750 Suzuki when I was 15. If it hadn't have been for my helmet I wouldn't be here. My dad brought the helmet to the hospital, Said "do you know how close you came to not having a head?", then stuck his finger through the paper thin inner liner. So YES I always wear a helmet regardless of weather, distance, etc... a 3/4 helmet.:sign **** happens:

Had this ringing and high pitched squeal in both ears for as long as I can remember. 60-70% hearing loss in both ears. Doctors said the bones in my ears are growing together . The sound comes from them scraping against each other. Can't afford the surgery to correct $5000.00 per ear. So have learned to live with it, and lots of BC's for the headaches caused by the noise.
