  1. Hey David, I am very interested in putting the "dynamic ringz" on the front of my bike, did you need to run the load equalizer to get the signals to operate properly? Did you install the "dynamic clusters" on the rear?
  2. Thanks for the reply but I'm not changing just the bulb but putting in a whole new LED headlight.
  3. It is time to upgrade the lighting on the bike, I am making use of this thread to install the same headlight and have a question, http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?119811-Changing-to-a-LED-Headlamp is the chrome ring all that holds the new headlight in the factory bucket? I also got the matching driving lights, they look like a fairly straight forward install compared to the headlight.

I'm in, noticed it is missing the passenger seat, wouldn't have to listen to the wife telling me to slow down!
  6. Prayers that the light will brighten the darkness.
  7. http://jokes.christiansunite.com/images/letters/l.gifast May a man living in Newton, Massachusetts received a bill on his as yet unused credit card stating that he owed $0.00. He threw it away. In April he received another and tossed that one, too. The following month the credit card company sent him a nasty note stating they were going to cancel his card if he didn't send them $0.00. In retrospect, he probably should have let them do that. Instead he called the company and was informed that (are you ready for this?) the problem was the result of a computer error. They told him they'd take care of it. The following month he reasoned that, if other charges appeared on the card, then it would put an end to his ridiculous predicament. Besides, they assured him the problem would be resolved. So he presented his card for a purchase. It was declined. Once again he called. He learned that the credit card had been cancelled for lack of payment. They apologized for (here it is again) another computer error and promised they would rectify the situation. The next day he got a bill for $0.00 stating that payment was now overdue. Assuming that this bill was yet another mistake, he ignored it. But the following month he received yet another bill for $0.00 stating that he had ten days to pay his account in full or the company would take necessary steps to recover the debt. He gave in. He mailed in a check for $0.00. The computer duly processed it and returned a statement to the effect that his account was paid in full. A week later, the man's bank called him asking him why he wrote a check for $0.00. He explained the problem at length. The bank replied that the $0.00 check had caused their check processing software to fail. The bank could not process ANY checks from ANY of their customers that day because the check for $0.00 caused a computer crash. The following month the man received a letter from the credit card company claiming that his check had bounced, that he still owed $0.00 and, unless payment was sent immediately, they would institute procedures to collect his debt. This man, who had been considering buying his wife a computer for her birthday, bought her a typewriter instead.

  13. Sunday morning we were around 0C (32F) this morning with the wind chill we are -29C (-20F). Till today winter was a pussy cat, not anymore....................
  14. For CT does that surprise you?
  15. Sir, recently I have been checking on your daily posts in regards to Skid, do not stop what you are doing for if you do the enemy wins. In regards to this situation with the person that questioned the effectiveness of your prayers; by your reaction i would say that you sir are becoming more Christ like. When Jesus was threatened with death, as He hung on the cross for you and I He could have called down legends of angels but chose not to so that we would have a chance to become part of His family. In my opinion you are not a coward but you did show the restraint that God would like us to demonstrate to the world. I pray that the Lord will give you His peace in this matter. God bless you.

  17. Years ago I had 175 Yamaha stolen from in front of our condo, it was found after the kid hit a pole with it and broke his girlfriends leg. I wanted money to fix the bike but had to take him to small claims court to accomplish this. I could not serve the papers to the kid because he was a minor I had to give them to his parents. When I gave them to his dad the guy had the nerve to say "my son owes you nothing, he's done his time". I asked what that was, he had gotten 10 hours community service. I looked this guy straight in the eye and said "it's parents like you that are causing this world to go to hell in a hand basket". If that was one of my kids what the system did to them would be nothing compared to what I would have done to them.
  18. I have gone through a couple of bouts of this the last couple of years. The doctor has put me on "Teva-Betahistine" which has taken away 99.9% of the symptoms. If I don't drink enough water I can get a flair up which passes with in a day or two.
  19. I am not a first responder but am in awe of the risks that they will take to keep us safe. Not sure how many heard of the forest fire that went through Fort McMurray this year but when I came across this drawing it summed up all of our first responders.
  20. I understand that riding with the wife is better and something BOTH people should enjoy. My wife has issues with her knees and me with my neck. About a year ago my wife found an excellent chiropractor, he has done wonders for her knees and my neck. It might not be for everybody but it sure helped us.
