  1. Not really for performance, but I'm thinking an IPOD interface would be a very good thing. I did a little different MP3 player mod on my 1st Gen and really enjoyed it.
  2. I think the real question here is "where did all those lawn chairs come from??" You were all on bikes.
  3. Harley does build some pretty bikes. I hope you really enjoy it. Great color.
  4. Messing around in the garage a few days ago and took some pics of my bike. Couldn't believe how the flash makes he flames show up even more. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/S7301175.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b303/elmicko2002/S7301176.jpg Ok, so I'm bragging a little, but I REALLY like my bike. Dang snow needs to go away!!

  11. Condor, please let us know if you do try them out. I'm thinking I'm going to add one to the rear brake on my 03 before spring riding season starts.
  12. But it IS chrome.
  13. Came across this in a magazine recently and was wondering if anyone had checked into it or has tried them. If it functions as described, I might try one on the rear brake of my RSV. http://www.eglidegoodies.com/id254.html
  14. My RSV fits me better than any big bike I've ever ridden so I'm hoping to have it for a long time. If I ever do need to switch brands, it'll have to be a touring bike with similar looks to an RSV. I like having a bike that looks like a classic bike. Guess that means that I'll be on a Kawi Voyager or an HD Ultra Classic, but I'm really hoping I have the RSV for a REALLY long time.
  15. You needed that to make you feel old??? I thought looking in a mirror would do that for you. Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I had just turned two three months before. :buttkick:Sorry bud, just had to give you a little poke.

    Boss Hoss

I saw a Boss Hoss trike at a gas station while I was out on a ride last summer. It was dang impressive looking, but the wife was complaining about how much heat the motor put off. I'm thinking I agree with her, but dang that thing was a moose and really good looking.
  17. Oooops...forgot to mention it's a Metzler.
  18. When I bought my 2nd Gen the PO gave me an extra front tire. He changed it out before he headed out for a 2000 mile trip on the bike. It looks like it as about 2/3 tread left and is in great shape. I just want to get it out of my garage. I really don't want to try to ship it, but if anybody's close, they can have it. Just let me know.
  19. Very nice Millennium you've got there. People either love or hate Crobin seats (I'm a hater) because they're so firm. One thing you might want to consider adding is a Luggage Rack. I've got one on my bike and it really helps packing if you use a luggage rack bag. I really think you're going to love the Venture and welcome to the site.
  20. I'm also one of the folks that won't run a red light, I don't like the thought of getting slammed or hurting someone else. That being said, I don't really trust the cameras. I think it would be too easy to be falsely photographed and ticketed even if you didn't run the light (or speeding cameras are probably the most likely to falsely catch you). Once your picture gets taken, you're guilty and there's not much you can do to prove otherwise. At least if you're stopped by a LEO, you have a chance to reason with him as to why you feel you didn't make the transgression. And just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean everybody's not out to get you.
  21. Just remember...no matter where you go, there you are.
  22. I have lifted you and your family up in prayer also. You will mourn her loss, but please take comfort in knowing where she is now and that she is reuniting with her loved ones that have gone one before.
  23. I know this is probably a stupid question, but does anybody need (or want) a stock CD changer? I really have no use for the thing. Don't necessarily care if I get money for it, wouldn't bother me if somebody just wanted to swap me something cool for it. Let me know, I'm afraid the shipping will get more expensive because of the weight of all the dust it's collecting.
  24. Thanks for all the help. The horn is now working properly and flipping LOUD. The dufus appreciates all the assistance on this one.
