I have a skid plate on mine. I think I got it from Carbon One.
When just lifting the front, I Use a regular bike jack and lift on the front of the plate.
If I need to lift the whole trike I lift the rear first and set it on jack stands then move to the front.
I have a stack of 6 2x8s I set the front wheel on.
It's not that high but it's a lot more comfortable working height.
I wish I had room for a real lift.
I see a few after market Items on there.
The trim on the front fender?
My side cover is black.
The plastic on the bottom of the fairing looks larger than mine.
No, now I see it, The front wheel. What do I win?
We've traveled the BRP/Sky Line end to end several times. We both love it.
Bad knees and vertigo moved me to a trike back in 2014.
Vertigo and two wheels can get real interesting.
We miss the two wheels but we love the trike as well.
You wont overfill the tank if you wait until you only have 1 bar on the fuel gauge.
That's what I do and I often forget about it. The bike will start sputtering when the aux. tank is empty.
Turn the pump off and keep on riding.
I run 40psi up front and 22psi rear.
Thanks everyone.
I ordered the lights I linked to above.
I bought 1 long and 2 short. If they are as bright as they say they should be fine.
I'll update when I receive and get them installed.
Don, I know that bike.🙂
50 plus years on motorcycles before I went to a trike.
Seven years on the trike and I STILL want to lean into the turn.
Steering is much, much easer when you sit up straight and lock your out side elbow.
Your weight and centrifugal force will push you around the turn.
You will be out running cruisers before you know it. Your co pilot wont like it but you can.
I guess they have had a price increase.
Mine cost $14000 installation included.
No regrets here. I had a choice. Trike it or park it.
We dearly miss two wheels but you have to play the cards your dealt.
I think it will be a little cheaper to add some lights Joe.
Besides, I really like my venture and I've already talked Woody into helping me with the wiring.
I can't let him off now.
After leading some group rides last week I was shown photographic proof of how anemic my rear lights are. I would really like the hear about what you've done
and where you got the lights. Pics would be great too.
Also, my RSV is triked with a Hannigan conversion.
Thanks every one!
