  1. I see a few after market Items on there. The trim on the front fender? My side cover is black. The plastic on the bottom of the fairing looks larger than mine. No, now I see it, The front wheel. What do I win?
  2. We've traveled the BRP/Sky Line end to end several times. We both love it. Bad knees and vertigo moved me to a trike back in 2014. Vertigo and two wheels can get real interesting. We miss the two wheels but we love the trike as well.
  3. Me too. Family stuff you know. If not for that we would have stayed longer.
  4. A great day and a half it was. Thanks again for the help with the lights, company and tour. We need to do it again soon.
  5. I have the Michelin commander rear on the front of my bike. I think you will be happy.
  6. I don't know of a tire manufacturer that makes a car tire that will fit a motorcycle rim. I run a rear tire on the front of my trike.
  7. You wont overfill the tank if you wait until you only have 1 bar on the fuel gauge. That's what I do and I often forget about it. The bike will start sputtering when the aux. tank is empty. Turn the pump off and keep on riding. I run 40psi up front and 22psi rear.
  8. Thanks everyone. I ordered the lights I linked to above. I bought 1 long and 2 short. If they are as bright as they say they should be fine. I'll update when I receive and get them installed. Don, I know that bike.🙂
  9. I have an Aluma MCT I'm no longer using. I looks like this one without the piece in front of and behind the fender.
  10. 50 plus years on motorcycles before I went to a trike. Seven years on the trike and I STILL want to lean into the turn. Steering is much, much easer when you sit up straight and lock your out side elbow. Your weight and centrifugal force will push you around the turn. You will be out running cruisers before you know it. Your co pilot wont like it but you can.
  11. Hard pass. I have zero interest in sport bikes and zero interest in any electric vehicle.
  12. I found these. I can get them just about any length I need. https://www.radiantz.com/Ampd-Flex-strips-p/288.htm Any body have experience with them?
  13. I guess they have had a price increase. Mine cost $14000 installation included. No regrets here. I had a choice. Trike it or park it. We dearly miss two wheels but you have to play the cards your dealt.
  14. I think it will be a little cheaper to add some lights Joe. Besides, I really like my venture and I've already talked Woody into helping me with the wiring. I can't let him off now.
  15. After leading some group rides last week I was shown photographic proof of how anemic my rear lights are. I would really like the hear about what you've done and where you got the lights. Pics would be great too. Also, my RSV is triked with a Hannigan conversion. Thanks every one!
  16. I stayed with the stock front wheel but with a rear tire. I believe more rubber up front is better on a trike.
  17. Except for the color that sure looks like my Hannigan. The ez steer on mine says Hannigan right on top of the tree.
  18. I really like the boards on my RSV/Hannigan. In my opinion, a trike looks better with them. A trike without them looks incomplete to my eye. I know some disagree with this. I you don't have a reverse you need to be careful how you park so you can coast out. They help keep some, not all, of the road debris from hitting the rear fenders. In rainy weather my feet and lower legs stay much, much drier. The trike experience is much different than 2 wheels but a lot of fun. Make sure whatever you are looking at has independent rear suspension. It makes a world of difference.
  19. Welcome Ray! Just so you know, Abnormal is normal around here.
  20. Welcome home Ron. Now, GET TO WORK! You only have a week and a half to get it done.
  21. Works for me!
  22. Home safe. We had a blast. We're already looking forward to Vogel.
  23. This is a VERY laid back gathering. Plans are made the evening before so be sure to come hang out at the camp site. We are pulling out tomorrow and will be there early afternoon.
  24. Well, no tequila for you then.😬
