I got my RSV 9/11. Ma nature dumped a 500 year flood on north Ga. right after I got it plus my VTX is my daily ride so I only have about 900 miles on it. I havent noticed the heat but then it hasnt been very hot since I got it either. I'll deal with that when the time comes. One thing I was expecting with this bike is comfort. I got it. I think the seat is fine and is getting better the more I ride it. The foward position of the boards is the main reason I went with this instead of a wing. The bars and controlls are in the right spot. I was not expecting this much power or the handling to be so good. I'm sure I'm going to be very happy with the RSV for along time. (I hope so cause, Shirley says I better be).

Hwy 60 - Morgantown Hwy in Georgia

Great road! Be carefull of the tar snakes on the southern end right after 9 splits off. As long as your in the area ride 180, Richard B. Russell Pky. (I think it is 348 ), 75 north of Helen to Hiwassee and 129 over Blood Mtn. NC and Tn roads get all the publicity but these roads rank right up there too. -
I've been riding a Honda VTX 1300 for the last 5 years and a Honda Magna before that. Been thinking about one of these rolling lounge chairs for awhile now and finally broke down and bought an 09 RSV on the 11th of this month. Well, Ma nature decided to give north Ga. a 500 year flood 2 days later and it's been sitting in the garage every since. The skys cleared and we had a chance to christen her Thursday and Friday. Took off for western NC to find out what this recliner could do. Holy sport bike Bat Man! I had no idea a full dresser (other than a wing) would be so nimble. I think I'm in love with 3rd gear. What a wounderfull gear. pulling strong from around 30mph up to around 70mph. HOLY................. Of coarse I'm not saying anything Y'all dont know but DAYUM. I think I'm gona like this bike.

Additional Features: Incomparable fit and finish includes flawless paint with extensive chrome and brushed stainless steel accents as well as deep, valanced steel fenders. 6-gallon fuel tank with low-fuel warning light ensures outstanding long-distance touring range. Large, powerful 12V 60/55-watt remote-adjustable halogen headlight maximizes nighttime visibility and cuts a stylish profile. I must admit I'm a little curious about the headlight adjuster myself. -
Yea, I've been a member of the VTXOA since 2004. My VTX runs great and I have never personaly had a plug flowling problem. It is a known issue with the bike though. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't an issue with the RSV before I found out the hard way. Thanks for the in put.

I own a Honda VTX1300 also. Using the choke (really a fuel enricher) fouls plugs rapidly and therefor needs to be used spairingly. I'm curiois about the proper use of the choke on the RSV. It seems to need the choke at first start up when cold but I dont want to foul plugs.

Problem is, the roads are washing away. No joke.

Thats what the dealer called it. Champange might be a better description though. It looks real good with the black.

Thanks Randy.

Thanks Freebird. I imagine a bicycle pump would work in a pinch? We want to ride tomorow.

Hi. I'm a proud owner of a new 09 RSV. Just bought it Friday. The owners manual has an obvious miss print. It say's the low setting is 0 psi, Mid is 0 psi and high is 7 psi. After taking the wife for a ride today, I know I need to bump the pressure up some what. The owners manual is no help and I found nothing in a search. Can someone please give the the minimum and maximum pressure for the rear shock. TIA MIKE
