So my 50+ years on two wheels is negated by my need to move to 3 wheels, and I therefore no longer meet your definition as a rider? Just make sure you don't accept any help from any of us who are not worthy of your approval. Wave or don't wave. It makes no differance. But to exclude someone because they don't ride like you IS being a jerk. Me? I wave at everyone. Kids, Harleys, Spiders, Sportbikes, Cops, etc. Most wave, some don't.

As far a lables, I just use round Avery lables. I put the name of the beer and the date bottled on the lable and put the lable on the cap. You print them with your computr and printer.

Found This Parked in Our Back Yard....
Motorcycle Mike replied to Aussie Annie's topic in Watering Hole
You must have a big back yard! -
I've been brewing for about 4 years now. I love IPA's so thats what I make. I would suggest you wait more like 2 weeks before moving your beer to secondary fermentor to make sure fermentation is finished. Make sure fermentation is done by taking several gravity readings over several days. The seconday is just for clearing up the beer, not finish fermenting. Many say moving the beer to a secondary fermentor is not nessasary. I move mine. Feel free to contact me with any questions. More than you ever wanted to know about home brewing here. http://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum.php Most importantly DWHAHB. "Dont Worry Have A Home Brew"

Nice find. The BSA 650 lighting was one of my dream bikes. I'm not sure I could get accustomed to the shifter on right, brake on left at this stage of the game.

Thats the way Asheville is set up and thats the way I prefer it. The last couple of years have been very trying on us and I just don't have an extra $100 laying around to regester me and the wife, don't want or need any t-shirts, patches or door prizes. we prefer to feed ourselfs and already give plenty to St. Judes. A quick check of some posts proves we're not alone with a challenging recent past. We're only a little over an hour from Vogel and would love to expand the list of friend's that I have already made here but have to be careful how I spend. I hope this doesn't come across a crass or rude. It's not intended to.

I have no expieriance with the Voyager kit. But if you can scrape the coins together, the Hannigan kit is the bomb. It's a full conversion rather than a bolt on like the Voyager. If you were closer, I'd let you take mine for a spin. I'm sure your mind would be made up. Hannigan is well known for putting out quality products and standing behind them with exelent customer service.

Well that sucks, but at least it missed the house. I think I would cut the tree rather than try jacking it up. I see a great possability of things going wrong doing that.

2008 Royal Star Venture - Head Lights
Motorcycle Mike replied to Kozubek's topic in General Tech Talk
I prefer to look over the shield so I cut mine down. Even if you get rid of the scratches, the very first big bug will hit directly in your line of site. I've been useing the Silver Star bulbs for years. Much improvement over stock. -
Best of luck. Your in our prayers.

NC143 & Tn165 is the Cherohala Skyway. It runs off of 129 in Robbinsville NC. GREAT ride. 165 runs into 68 in Telico plains. Take it south to Duck Town and go west on 64 to highway 30 north then take a right on 315 back to Telico Plains. Get back on 165 for a short piece, probably less than a mile the left on 360. 360 will dump you out on US 411. Go north on 411 till you go over the lake then turn right on 72. 72 will bring you out on 129 north of the dragon. This is probably a 200 mile loop of some great riding. Robbinsville is a great place to make your base camp. 294 is a good road. Fairly tame for the area its in. If your a Christian, make sure you check out Fields of the wood. http://fieldsofthewoodbiblepark.com/ This is my playground. Lots of great roads in the area. You may want to check out some of the north Ga. roads on your way up. We have some great ons that are on your way. Try to ride the dragon early in the morning (07:00 - 08:00) before it gets busy. Its alot safer then.

prayer request.
Motorcycle Mike replied to Motorcycle Mike's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Shirley and I would like to express our thanks for all the prayers. They really do help. We would also like to give a special thanks to those who contributed to the fund to help bring James home. We would have had to take out a loan otherwise and neither of us are in the right frame of mind to be dealing with the bank right now. It’s bad enough to lose a child, but this has been especially difficult do to the fact he is in China and they were in no hurry to send him home or tell us what happened, and there was nothing we could do about it. We now know it was a heart attack and they are finally putting him on a plane Friday, He will be home Saturday so we will be able to put him to rest and start trying to get ourselves back to some sort of normalcy. Thank you again for the help. Both spiritually and financially. I can’t begin to tell you how much it means to us.
