  2. That's not a custom trike, just a custom paint job. The trike is a Rewaco. http://www.rewaco-usa.com/
  3. JUST ONE???? We have 2 empties we need to get our deposit back on. We'll bring those with us. It's been two years since we've seen you guys. Can't wait!
  4. Shirley and I just booked a cottage for Wed. & Thur. We may just cage it. Not sure if Shirley is recovered enough for much riding yet.
  5. I don't care if it's a V-twin or a V-4. I have one of each in the garage right now and love them both. The issue to me is that it is air cooled and belt driven. I decided back in the 80's when I bought a Honda Magna that any other bike I ever owned would be liquid cooled and shaft driven. Looks like I'll be riding my RSV for some time to come.
  6. Way too young. Added to our prayer list.
  7. Thanks for recognizing that I need a hug too. Miss you guys.
  8. Such a kind offer. Thank you so much. The prayers and doctors seem to have worked.
  9. Just got Shirley home from the hospital, along with a grocery sack full of prescriptions. She's feeling much better. What a long, scary 2 1/2 days. Thanks everyone!
  10. I took Shirley to the doctor yesterday because she didn't feel well. The next thing I know their throwing her in an ambulance for a ride to the hospital. She has Atrial fibrillation. Her heart rate was 150/160 per minute. Fluid on her lungs and a lot of swelling in her legs. They said she was just hours away from a stroke. I just came home from the hospital to clean up. Not sure how long they are going to keep her. I still have my faith but it sure is being put to the test. Please pray for my Baby.
  11. Thanks so much for all the prayers and kind words. We know all will improve with time, but this rapid fire crap has to stop.
  12. Please add our youngest daughter Theresa and my family to your prayers. She had a massive stroke and passed away Saturday. Her son was murdered just about 3 years ago. Our next to youngest son died in China about a year ago. Some of you helped us get him home via a go fund me page our other daughter set up. Thank you for that. Way too much grief too close together.
  13. Exactly! I've even had them show up as my own number.
  14. They are driving me nuts. Do not call register is little help. What app do you use to block these a$$holes on your cell?
  15. https://www.originalmattress.com/?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=PPC&utm_campaign=Brand_ATL&Region=ATL&gclid=Cj0KEQiAgJTGBRDLr5_az_Ouk44BEiQAIxaA4mE4DuRJfhcgquoAti6MTDI10sXrzKbX9nItqT5HmlsaAh758P8HAQ We like ours. Almost all of their mattress are 2 sided so you can flip them and double the life span. Better priced then those name brands too.
  16. Everything I've ever heard says it will damage the transmission. Trailers are relatively inexpensive. Certainly a lot cheaper than a new tranny.
  17. The RSV with a Hannigan conversion is an excellent combo. Cruisers can't keep up if I don't want them to. I do miss laying it over in the curves tho.
  18. Why listen to them thar Yankee rodents when we have Gen. Beauregard Lee, the Georgia version of that one in Pa. He predicted an early spring. Been pretty mild down in Ga. anyway.
  19. Congratulations on your pending retirement. Every day has been Saturday since January 30th for me and I'm loving every minute of it.
  20. I think it's funny you think your going to sleep till nine every morning. the last 15 years I worked I had to get up at 3 AM. I retired Feb 1 of this year and still wake up at 3 AM EVERY day. The good thing is I get to roll over and snuggle up with Shirley and go back to sleep..............or not.. Regardless, I'm out of bed by 7 AM everyday. I get to enjoy my coffee instead of gulping it down then do whatever I please. I got used to retirement the very first day and recommend it to anyone who has the means to do so. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us. Make the most of what you have. Congratulations and thanks for your years of service.
  21. Brian At BD's Cycles is the best I know of. Darn nice guy too. http://www.bdscycles.com/Home.html
  22. I don't know anything about straight axles but can tell you the Hannigan IRS is excellent. If I'm in the mood to hammer on it cruisers simply cant keep up. It's a 3 wheeled sports car. I know your fighting the need to move over to a trike and understand. I was faced with the choice of going to a trike or leaving Shirley at home when I rode. Well that was a easy choice because if Shirley ain't going, I don't want to go either. I miss laying over in a curve and grinding some pegs and so does Shirley. But when the choice is riding on three or not at all the choice was easy for me. If you want to talk trikes give me a call or PM. Everything you want to know about trikes is at triketalk.com
  23. Yep, those are Corbin beetle bags. They run around $2,000 if memory serves. One problem with them is you cant use any other mfr sissy bar. Another is they make the bike look like a Vespa IMO. And they are made by Corbin, possibly the worst cust service known to man..
  24. Congratulations!!! I retired Feb 1st of this year and haven't missed work for a minute. In fact, I wonder how I ever worked in in. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I am mine.
  25. This is the trip we've been looking forward to all year. Shirley hasn't even thought about a glass of wine in 3 days so you KNOW she's not feeling very good.
