    Put it up on the jack last night and it comes from the breather tube. Seems to happen more on long warm rides. Thanks for the reply's, even the smart ones.

    I've noticed oil on the tip of my kickstand. Anyone else had this? I just figure it is from some breather tube that comes out there. Anything I should be concerned with?

    I have one and have seen another and they both rusted on the brackets that attach them to the fender. Just something to watch for and try and prevent. They aren't real bad but it sucks when you look real close.

    Looking at your route I would make sure I included the Kancamagus hyw and Crawford notch is a nice place to camp.

    Can't help you with the Stratoliner fairing but I have the Wide Open Custom and it looks nice. I get lots of compliments on it.

    I had jumper cables and was helping out a guy with a Harley that left his light on and giving him a jump off my bike and Bobby came over to ask me if I knew about this sight and I told him who I was and he couldn't hang out so off he went. I like going and doing demo rides. Wanted to ride a Gold Wing but you got to get there in line at 6:30 to get a ticket

    Finished mine this past weekend. Made the brackets and took the old muffler clamp covers off the old pipes and mounted them on. The instructions I used were excelent. It was a ***** to get the old muffler clamp covers off but managed to do it with the dremel. I found that then RK pipes have a slit in the side and I cut this about 2 inches more and the pipes slide on much easier. I would recomend doing this. I love the sound.     Yup I have to agree it is a great tool when jacking up your bike.

    This is exactly what I was going to suggest. I wore a hole through the tank bib I got from the guy that used to make them on here and brought it to a leather place and they made a patch for it in the shape of a blue star.

    I have bought 3 bikes and an atv from my dealer and he lets me take any bike I want for a test drive but I have ridden with him and he knows I can ride. They do make a copy of your license before they let you take it. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask for a deposit.

    I ordered a set of ones that came off a new bike for $75. I hope they are the right ones.

    Are the Rk exhausts that much better sounding that they are worth putting on. I don't want them loud but a little louder than the stock exhaust.

    I have run the brickstones and I like the Comander II and the E3 and have given some thought to the darkside. Thanks I thought probably that was the case because this is a brand new rim and tire w/out the disk so I will swap that over.

    Anyone ever run a Dunlop 404 on the rear. I have a wheel and tire that I got from Pinwall that has a brand new 404 on it. I just wanted the extra rim for $100 bucks and was thinking about going to the darkside.

    Rode the Stratoliner last year and you can keep it. I agree with taking the Vmax engine and puting it in the Veture and another RSTD.

    I've been a member since 2006 and have been on many missions. Our VT state capt has a bunch of tall flags to pass out that are made from 3 inch pvc and go together with pins and one of the other ride capt's has some that are identicle. I have flags I fly on the back of my bike but you want to make sure there is no way they can come off and cause an accident. They make some colapsable flags you could strap to the bike and it never hurts in case there aren't enough flags. On escorts from the airport you can run your flags and they sometimes will have extras. Main thing is just to show up and no one will care if you don't have a flag. Thanks for joining the PGR.

    i have the same thing. I'm thinking it might be a breather tube but I don't know. It has done it for a while but not much coming out of there so I don't worry too much.

    Of the place in Ohio that has salvage parts? I bought from them but can't remember it.

    SS lines have less give to them so they will give the brakes more pressure is what I was told.

    I'm dissapointed because the one I have is getting rust on the brackets where it fastens to the fender. It is only two years old and has been under cover either in my garage or carport.

    They look like the stock pipes with the tips turned out.
