  1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-Royal-Star-Tour-Deluxe-Driver-Backrest-Quick-Release-for-Mustang-seats-/221075559768?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3379215558&vxp=mtr What do you think of them?
  2. I believe he hit both, one in the arm and the other had one in the abdomen and one somewhere else. They were both 19 with no prior record. They are lucky they are still alive and I would have kept shooting until they were out of sight.
  3. Are you taking the ferry? If so I would go up rt8 to rt 100 in VT all the way to the end of it and then go east over into NH towards Errol ME through Dixville gap down 16 to rt2 from there you could either head up and come down the coast or back towards Vt and Ny and the Addirondaks.
  4. Why would you replace the rear and the front at the same time? I get twice the mileage on the front tire. Just curious.
  5. Forgot to add that I need at least 8 of them.
  6. Because I'm cheap and they are $4.79 apiece vs .45 each for SS. Just trying to save some money in hard times.
  7. I really like the Victory CC and it would be a toss up whether I would buy it or the Kawasaki Vaquero. Good luck with it and may you have many happy miles.
  8. I'm replacing the bolts in the brake disk and I'm not sure what grade they are but I purchased some SS bolts online and wondered if they would be alright. They are 18-8.
  9. Could someone tell me how far back in years will they fit the 08 RSTD? Looking at a remanufactured one on Ebay from a 97.
  10. Test rode the Vaquero and really liked it. Same bike pretty much. Nice looking bike.
  11. Had it done yesterday and they were perfect. No adjustment needed. They did sync the carbs though. Whole job was $391. 5.2 hours labor.
  12. You get that same sound when you change a rear tire and dont loosen the pumpkin nuts. I found this out.
  13. Not sure how different the old RSTD brackets were but they have them for the new RSTD.
  14. I have the same one on my 08 RSTD and also have the Serious tunner for satalite radio. I had this same one on my other bike and took it off when I sold it and made brackets to fit this one.
  15. I had my second one a couple months ago. I hope I die before the next one. (well not really) This was the second one I've had. The first one was 10 years ago and I wont need another one for 10 years. I hear about everyone saying how easy theirs were but according to the Doc my colon has a lot of really sharp turns in it and every time they hit one it hurts like hell and I wake up.
  16. Someone posted on here about a woman that makes them. They were real nice. She custom made what you wanted.
  17. ] No I have an extra wheel but it didn't come with a rotor and so I have to swap it over when I change it. It makes the job easier because I can bolt the changer down to the floor and do the change then unbolt the changer and put the bike in to do the swap, new wheel and tire for the old one.
  18. Well I got the tire changer last night and it works real well. I was able to take a tire off an old rim and put the tire on in about an hour from start to finish. That includes balancing with my homemade balancer and blowing it up. I used a ratchet tiedown to get air in the tire. Put it around the center and cranked it down until it squashed the tire enough to get it to take air. I just wish puting it on the bike went as smooth. One of the hex hed bolts striped out on the rotor. Had to use my easy out to get it out.
  19. 54K On my last bike and 27k on this one with Shell Rotella t.
  20. Will do. I have a brand new Comander II siting on my front porch delivered yesterday and the jack is due next Monday. Found a good write up on one that is simular but Harbor Frieght model. http://www.pbase.com/fredharmon/tirechange
  21. Won it for Starting bid price. Thanks again Carbon one.
  22. That tire is toast already. Got maybe 4 k out of it.
  23. Just bid on it.
